Oh gosh, that last line totally got me! I was lucky to be adopted within one side of my biological family, but the other side never knew me. Many years ago when we were moving, my Dad found a small box of things that belonged to my biological father in the attic, and he let me have them. I still have them. I never had any desire to meet him- because as far as I was concerned, I had a Mom and Dad-but it was nice to have the connection to that part of the past. I can totally sympathize with Bella here.

So Bella meets Jake. I like him. It seems he has Renesmee's best interest at heart. But most of all I like that, just like keeping the Indian culture alive, he has kept R's heritage alive by telling her what he knows of her birth parents.
I also love the bond that R seems to have with Bella. It feels like it goes deeper that student/teacher. I look forward to how this will play out.

I see Emmett is jovial as usual. Guess he has to be to get along with his wife, lol.
Bella's meeting did not go quite as well as I had hoped. When we saw the drawing for the first time I thought, perhaps, Renesmee's adopted parents let her know just that, that she is adopted and she is special. We see here that that is not the case. I can only imagine how hurt Bella would feel about this. Fortunately Leah threw the picture in her trash can and she was able to retrieve it. I guess the good news is she has the remainder of the school year to spend time with her natural daughter. Matter of fact I look forward to the bonding experience.
Author's Response: I absolutely love Emmett. If I ever had a big brother (I'm the oldest in my Fam) I would want him to be Emmett. I just love him! And he's not too bad on the eyes!!!!

Good story.
But I have to say that I'm seriously worried that Edward cheated on Bella with Rose... Can't see how that will turn out good in the end.
And really curious about where you will take this story on the relationships between ALL the characters... :)
