*sigh* This chapter made me happy.
I never considered Rose's strength as being ruthlessness. Edward described her as stubborn, I think. It's interesting to hear how she thinks of herself. I liked her voice very much.
Horray that Edward is moving toward turning her and Bella is letting him get closer. I hope he's able to help her heal from the pain he caused by leaving.
Oh, I can't wait to see how this ends!

I have to say, I really like Rosalie. She's a hardass, but she comes through in the end. A tad bit giddy that Bella finally asked Edward to stay. Thanks for the update. Sorry to hear you've had a rough time lately. Hope things improve. :-)

Awesome chapter! And I am soooooooooo looking forward to Rosalie kicking some Vampire ass.
As far as the vampire goes, I believe she has a gift that allows her not to give off a scent and even blend in sort of speak. What was troubling was that Jacob picked up on this but dismissed it. I think this vampire finds herself fascinated with all the vampire attention Bella receives and the reason Bella can see the vampire is because of her latent shield. Obviously, I'm taking a stab at this... but I wonder if this vampire maintains her gift 24-7. If so, Rosalie will never catch her... if not, then we get to see Rosalie at her finest! :-)
