Best New Moon AU fic I read. Dark and twisted but you manage to get his characterization down to a pee. You make your audience feel his pain even through all it could have been avoided had he been selfish. Like the saying goes you only know what you have until it truly gone. Great story, look forward to reading you others works. Until then, take care.

Whoa......that is just fucking heavy duty. It really made me sad and my stomach queazy while reading. I so love my Edward and cannot imagine him being so cruel to a young girl, but he misses his Bella so much and and I have to admire him that he kept his promise to his Bella and watches out for her daughter, Emily. I know this is morally reprehensible, and all kinds of wrong, and Bella would be horrified, but I can sympathize with Edward, in a weird way. Even though he did it to himself, by deciding to leave Bella to her human life, there's a sneaking pity in my heart for the guy. Guess I'll always be a sucker for a pretty vampire. Shame on me!

How very poignant, disturbing and tender all at the same time. Edward made his promise to Bella and his course is set. We all know how obsessed he can become with a notion or an ideal, somehow I don't think Carlisle and family will be able to sway him when the time comes 50 or so years down the road. Great job with this Missy, when you go dark......well, it can get black out there.
