I think this chapter was just right not to much or not to little. There is nothing wrong with going slow I think they should wait till they go away together. Start out as friends and work toward the rest. I love your Edward and Bella and I love that she picked the girl with all the heart. I work in a field with children and sometimes it is hard for the one who gives all of herself and dosen't have the money to have it all. Money can't buy you everything you need that spark of want. Love your story.

Cullen family have all met Abby and accepted her. Esme and Carlisle have offered to babysit so Bella and Edward can compete in Las Vegas. It really wasn't even an offer more like we'll take her so you can go. Already planning on taking Abby to the tea party she has scheduled during that time. Showing her off to all the other ladies and probably be her excuse for an early departure. Edward and Bella are also out as a couple. With holding her, kissing her, and cuddling with Bella in front of his entire family with no qualms for either of them. Las Vegas should be quite interesting with no responsibility for taking care of Abby and all her time attuned to Edward. Can't wait for that chapter. I still hope they are also competing against Mike and Jessica locally as well. Based on Esme's actions I think she wants to be a grandmother in the future.

Adored Alice's reaction to the flour feud in the kitchen and upon the clothes of Edward and Bella. They had fun though making the mess together. Being with Edward was so easy to be herself. It was no effort for Bella. Abby seemed to like him and him her. He came over early to help get ready for the party. It appeared Patrick verbally checked him out and took over the fatherly role making sure Edward's intentions were in the right place. I thought that was cute, Bella thought it was embarrassing. Maggie already approved of him before she even met him, but when he showed up at the house with flowers that cinched the deal. I did watch the beginners utube video of the Lindy hop and will watch more for all the flips and turns. Highly energetic dance moves at a fast pace depending on the song being danced to. Dancing to Glen Miller In the Mood pretty cool. I love all types of music from all eras. Each have their own style and some good and some bad. Just have to appreciate each decade for the time, style, lyrics, rythmn, performers, and musicians, etc... In regards to the competitions, did any of them think about taking Abby with them to Las Vegas. Since the school doesn't have classes over the weekend, have the family go watch the competition have one allocated for babysitting detail while the rest watch and vote for Bella and Edward. They can also video the performance(s) to show the babysitters and Abby later. Then Bella can spend quality time with Abby during the time not dancing. Allowing the rest of the family time together as well. Allowing Patrick and Maggie their time to visit Patrick's family. So Bella won't be away from her daughter for a whole weekend either. The looks between Edward and Bella give away their true feelings for each other. This competition will give them a test before the one with the school and the one they challenged Mike and Jessica for the city title.
