Why does everyone always excuse the Cullens for leaving Bella too? Edward doesn't control them, and they made the decision to leave, yet in 95% of these fics the Cullens as a whole are forgiven instantly. They stuck by Edward; he's family and we can understand that, but by doing that, they excluded Bella from being family. They chose between the two and Bella didn't make it. Yet all is forgiven and forgotten. They are no longer Bella's family! It drives me kinda nuts when this happens.

Oh well. Thanks for listening to me rant. I like the start of your fic, and if Bella blows off Alice and goes home, I'll love it to death. :)

Thanks for reading.  In the beginning, the Cullens aren't really going to be discussed, because Bella is too busy trying to sort through her feelings for Edward.  The best Edward-and-the-Cullens-returns-and-Bella-says-screw-you story I've read was Fractured Hearts by cfmom.  There are also plenty of angry Bella fics that occur several years down the road and not in the same time frame as New Moon. Some of these are yummy Jasper/Bella fics.
