I am so excited to have found this story!! Reading about the true Major Whitlock is quite a treat! Jasper is my absolute favorite member of the Cullen clan so I love the idea of seeing what he was like as a human.... add a little Jasper/Bella action in there and you have me squeeing like a teenie lol... Speaking of... How adorable are they! Jasper is so cute with his flirting and Ms. Bella with all her blushing and trying to pretend she's not affected... sigh, so cute!!
I'm still a bit confused as to how Bella ended up in 1862 but love it all the same. And you know the whole Alice/Jasper are they/aren't they mates, I've always felt like there was a possibility that they weren't. I mean I know that when she woke up from the change meeting Jasper was the first vision she saw but who's to say that she wasn’t meant to meet Jasper to simply introduce him to the "vegetarian" life style . It's one of the reasons I've always loved the pairing of Jasper and Bella... So many possibilities with that.
Also can I just say that I absolutely LOVE that you are historically accurate! I'm a big fan of historical fiction and usually in the realm of fanfiction it's hit or miss with accuracy and you my dear are painstakingly accurate and I adore that, so thank you!
I positively cannot wait for an update for this story!!! It's such an amazing piece of work!

I had a wonderful time doing the research for this story. We'll get *somewhat* of an explanation for how Bella is in Jasper's time by the story's end.

I love love love this story! I am a HUGE Jasper fan and this story has quickly risen to the top of my favorite Jasper/Bella stories! PLEASE update soon! I cannot wait to find out what happens next!

In an earlier chapter you mentioned recomminding fics we are reading... so I'm going to take a moment to be a little self centered and recomend my own fic. It's an Edward/OC called Sent From Heaven. If that's not your style its cool.
Vision of Our Destiny is a great fic and so is Lessons Unexpected. And Saving Bella over at FF.net is A-mazing!

Author's Response: Yes. I'm generally always one to two chapters ahead on FF because of the validation process on Twilighted. I post my next chapter in the validation queue the day the new chapter goes up, but it still takes a while. I update every Wednesday on FF.

Author's Response: I'm sorry that you're going to be met with a brick wall. We will eventually find out some things about Edward, but I can't give away anyone's era or vamp status.

Either Bella woke up, or she felt an electrical current similar (or stronger) than the one she feels with Edward. And why do I get the feeling that she has actually gone back in time, that this is more than just a dream, and that Jazz will reveal that he had met Bella back in 1862?
What was it with the men in the Cullen family while they were driving? Even as humans they didn’t look where they were steering! I loved this line! So typical of Bella. And I loved Jasper's little slip of Bella having the view while working his kitchen!
Can't wait to read more!
