Ah, sweet, young love's first time! That's sure going to complicate things when Bella 'wakes up' (or whatever). But I think you captured their first times beautifully. I just hope that Jazz is sufficiently ignorant for his time that he doesn't question Bella's lack of maidenhead (a term I infinitely prefer over the clinical 'hyman' by the way). Otherwise she'll have some 'splainin' to do, and I don't think she's that practiced a liar...
You know, now I have visions of Jasper doing the 'honorable' thing by marrying Bella before he goes back to the front (so to speak—I know that term's from a later war). Now that would be something to explain later...
Can't wait to read more!
Author's Response: Until you mentioned it, Jasper reaction to her lack of bleeding didn't even cross my mind (I'm embarrassed to admit.). In thinking about it, though, I'm sure girls of his class in Texas were far less likely to bleed than girls today because of hard labor and horseback riding. I would imagine that their pelvic floors got more work than a contemporary girl. I'm not sure if Jasper would even think about such a thing, and he would never ask.

Please do this chapter in Jasper's POV next. As Bella is from the 21th century, having sex with the man she loves isn't really a big deal. Jasper, on the other hand, had a completely different upbringing and I would love to know his thought process and POV behind this chapter...
