I love this story! This is the second time i've read it. Love the historical aspect, and the Jasper/ Bella relationship. Please write more stories!

It's a wonderflu story. Howevery, I wish you would have made her Pregnant.  and that it was longer. 

I have to say I don't normally write reviews, I am an admitted ghost reader. I had to make an exception as this story is truly beautiful.

You gave the characters depth far beyond what Stephanie gave them. Your original characters were perfectly human and just what was needed to carry the story. Which is a quality that is rarely found in fan fiction. The setting was rich and vibrant as well as being truly original; I have yet to find any fic that is any way similar to your plot. The detail and work to try to aline history and what Stephanie had for Jasper's past was excellent and worked into and moved your plot seamlessly. 

Your writing and plot were so engrossing that I could not put it down to the point I read through the night just to finish it in one sitting.

On top of all that you laid out exactly thr reason Bella and Edward's relationship in canon is so flawed with out making someone out to be the bad guy as so many others do in non-canon pairings. You made it out as it is, an unhealthy relationship, and juxtaposed it with such a healthy and supportive love. I can't express how muchIi love this piece.

 

Of course when I first read the Twilight series I was so taken with Edward and Bella's story. I loved all the couples and found myself never picking sides. I, like so many others wanted more back stories on everyone and then I discovered fanfic. I always had a special spot for Jasper, although I felt like I was making a leap reading about Bella and him being together. Its somethin I now love to read, but your story is by far the best I have read. The historical aspect was amazing and I found myself bereft when Bella didn't make it to save Jasper from Maria. Your story was amazing. It made me want more. More details, more chapters, more everything Jasper and Bella. Which is good. :) Thank you for writing and making my heart explode with love all over again. :)

this story was amazing and Millie's chapter was so sad. I love jasper and bella stories and this one is my favourite it was so beautiful.

Aww... poor Millie. Also, I wanted them to find Millie's things still burried in the front yard... to have that last think of hers to hold on to

This was a lovely story. I found this while looking at the featured stories and it caught my interest. I loved your story so much that I read every word, every sentence, and every chapter in less than a 24 hour period. I could not leave to story for the life of me! My favorite chapter was Bella and Jasper's reunion. The emotion was so raw.

Even if this story weren't as fun as it is, even if it weren't such a fascinating look at what Jasper's past might have been like, and even if I didn't already adore you for your commitment to historical accuracy, reading the whole fic would be worth if for being able to see Walt Whitman's poetry in a new way and at new angles.

Omg! Omg! OMG! That was so totally good! Very good. Loved it!
