This story was hard for me to read because I lost my daughter two years ago. Losing her brought my husband and I closer together in our shared grief. I still cry and miss her every day. One cannot know what losing a child does to you unless you live through it. Thanks for writing.

I don't come to Twilighted a lot anymore, but when I do, I remember why. Just a great story!!! Thank you. I needed a good cry! ;)
Author's Response: I'm glad you visited. Do you go to fanfiction.net? I tend to visit that site more frequently. Thank you so much for your review and kind words. And don't we always need a good cry?
It just blows me away how many people are touched by this story.
Thanks again!

Holy crap, this was amazing! I can count on one hand the number of times I've felt compelled to leave a review before, but I just had to for this. This is absolutely incredible! It felt almost like a movie, like I wasn't even reading anymore. It takes a really talented author to be able to transport a reader into the scene and make them forget it's not real. Hope to see more from you!
Author's Response: I'm so happy my story compelled you to respond. And that you have such kind words to say about my writing. It's funny that you say that about "like a movie", because that's how I envision scenes in my head. Where are people standing? What are they doing with their hands? What are their facial expressions? Etc. So I'm really glad you could see what I envisioned.
As for more...I'm working on it. I have a one-shot in the process and a multi-chaptered fic (10 chapters in) that I'm trying to complete. I'll post that when it's either close to completion or completed. :)
Thank you for taking the time to review. It means so much to me, truly.

I seriously have no words. I'm speechless. That was seriously one of, if not, the most powerful and emotionally charged piece I have ever read.
Author's Response: You have no idea what your review means to me. To say that it's up there on your list of most powerful and emotionally charged...wow! I'm still amazed at the response to this story. Thank you, thank you for taking the time to share with me your thoughts.

wow, that was a tearjerker. forgiveness is always wonderful, isn't it?
Author's Response: Forgiveness IS truly wonderful. My late aunt, who was the matriarch of our family, explained to me that forgiveness isn't about forgiving the person who you feel wronged you; it's about the healing that YOU receive once you forgive. Very wise woman.
Sorry I made you cry; but in a way I'm not because it means the emotions I was trying to convey came across like they were supposed to.
Thank you so much for your review. Means a lot to me.

That was beautiful. I don't know how anyone can get past the loss of a child, but you did you characters justice.
Author's Response: One of the things my mother-in-law told me was that the hardest obstacles to overcome within a marriage is 1)loss of a child or 2) taking care of a sick spouse.
Either of these can make or break a marriage. And a lot of times it has nothing to do with whether or not you love that person, it's all about how you can adjust with that person being a constant reminder of what you are struggling with or struggled with.
Thank you for saying I did them justice. I was worried because I haven't experienced this kind of loss. Your review means so much to me, so thanks!

Truer words were never written than "there are no words" to describe how it feels to experience and cope with losing a child. Your story was captivating and surreal. Beautifully written and your style of writing evokes emotions and feelings effortlessly. If this was written from experience, I hope you found this cathartic and healing. If this was not written from experience, you have insight and wisdom that is beyond imagination. I hope you continue to write other stories.
Author's Response: Thank you so much for such a thoughtful review. This was not written from experience, so thank you for your complimentary words. It came to me with a writing prompt of "I Hate Myself For Losing You." And it made me think of circumstances where love can be turned into hatred or something very close to it. And this idea was born.
I am indeed continuing to write. I'm working on another one-shot at the moment, and I have a multi-chaptered fic in the works (10 chapters in). I'm hoping to get most of the story completed though before I start posting. Again thank you...and I hope the same for you. If this story hit a little close to home for you, I hope you found reading it cathartic and healing.
