Oh, now I wish I had stopped when you said in your a/n that this was not a happy story. So sad! But it was also a beautiful story and beautifully written! Wished it could have been happier, but I understand. Not all stories can end with a HEA, huh!?! :(

That was so sad. What did Edward do?! Must have been horrible if she never came back, despite being so in love with him. Despite the sadness, this was still beautifully written, a wonderful read.

You broke my heart. I felt like I was right there with Edward, feeling his emotions, especially at the end where you reveal that all the names on the menu mean the same thing.

Oh, God, so sad! To see him waiting and waiting for 2 decades to find that she'd moved on, had a child(children) and it's like she KNEW he was there. Maybe not consciously, but she hadn't been back there until then. UGH!

I loved it. Angsty, hot, and very poignant

That was perfect. So, so sad. I loved it. This has to be one of the best one shots out there. You feel for Edward and how he is still hurting after all these years and how he wishes she would come back. I just can't get over how good this was. I haven't cried like that in a long time. oh, i thought they were going to have a happy romantic reunion, where they got back together. well i guess not, and that kinda sucked to be honest. i totally feel awful for edward. for me, it was a depressing story in the end. anyway, it was really well written. thanks
