The way you write, it actually puts me there, witnessing, in the scene. When she's in the house, I feel the darkness, I see the dust and dirt. When they are on their way to Alaska, I feel the cold all around me. The snow. I see her hunting and her clothes being bloody. I love it all. Now, the ending.....whoa!! Unbelievable. So so so powerful. Bella finally hits a realization, and these two finally have their face-off. It's about time Bella and Edward!! They are commuted to one another!! They need one another!! Bella and Edward have developed a new kind of relationship and it seems that he is becoming more and more protective of her and understands what she needs to keep her distracted. Love it! Wonder what has Edward on edge with Alice's companion. Hmmm....reading on!!

So I wonder what the next steps for them will be. I can't believe Edward was just going to take her up there and drop her off. I wonder if they will follow his family but have a separate residence from them just so Bella and Edward can have their own lives but also so Bella has a support system. I hope all thoughts of goodbye have been eliminated from Edward's mind.

Great chapter. Why don't Alice and Jasper's abilities work on Bella? Is she an all round shield? Can't believe Edward was going to leave! Stupid vampire.... Will he convert or still drink human blood? How will they all live together? I feel bad for Bella. They travelled all that way and now they have to go back to the US. Can't wait to read more. Chapter 9 review:

This Edward give me a headache with all the fucking mindgames he puts Bella through. He can't read her mind, and blames her for it. She's not even a DAY OLD when he maneuvers her into feeding on humans, then when she's traumatized from it, HE'S angry that SHE feels that way? Fuck him.

Now after making her emotionally dependent on him, showing her how much he needs her and wants her, and going through all the effort of showing her another way to live as a vampire, the fucking coward decides to "break up first before she breaks up with him", now that she's safe and has a support system to depend on. AGAIN, he takes her choices away from her.

Even as a fictional (anti) hero, his stone-walling, emotional blackmail and rapid-cycle moodswings --when they're not having sex, that is-- leaves me tired and turns me off. I've been waiting for AGES for this story to update, but now I don't know if I'm going back to it. Bella's drowning and flailing about in her new life and he keeps taunting her with his pushme-pullyou bipolarity. I'm tired of Bella having to be the Good Girl and saving him. This Edward is no one to look up to.
