I'm glad he turned down Mrs. Brandon. For a minute there, I thought that was going in a different direction. I'm still trying to figure out the significance of all the charms on the bracelet... great chapter!

They've known each other how many months now? I'm trying to calculate how long it will be until we get the smutty scene from the prologue... I'm glad Edward's coming to terms with all his shit, it's necessary even if it's hard.
Author's Response: The smutty scene from the prologue takes place 8 months after they meet. So in theory we've got about 5 months left until they get to the night of the storm.
It's torture, I know! No one wants them to just screw it all and have hot sex more than I do, haha.

I knew it! No way Edward was going to be able to keep from being nasty to Bella, he hates her column too freakin' much. I love it - he has to keep doing interviews until he gets it right, what a punishment! I like Bella in this story so far, glad she slapped Edward - you go girl!

I just started reading this, but I wanted to tell you I think it's really great. I always wanted to be an NYPD detective, but after going through forensic science classes I hit a wall. Anyhoo, I'll continue to review as I read. =)
