I think the paint is perfect - Edward's well-versed in the arts, it doesn't surprise me.

What I like the most is that if he had THOUGHT to ask Alice, she would have been able to check and see that his eyes were perfectly fine. XDDD <3Alissie

The paint thing made a lot of sense, especially since a few drops of red in a gallon of white will throw the color off, like he said. I really liked this, it seemed just right.
Author's Response: The funniest bit for /me/ is that, if Edward had even THOUGHT to ask Alice, she would have been able to see that his eyes were fine. ;)
