I like this scene, this is the first story I came across that redid it. I always wondered though what would happen if Bella caved to Edward..but still got married.

I've never known how to feel about her reaction to the marriage deal. My question has always been How could you love someone so much, want to be with them so much but not marry them? I don't get it. I really enjoyed your take on this scene. It certainly makes me think even harder about what's going to happen. Great job.

It's always a treat to read the other side of the story. This is one of my favorite scenes of "Eclipse" because it is so hard to gauge what Edward is thinking. He is always so proper and controlled, and then the tables turn and Bella becomes the one who is controlled while Edward seems to lose it.
I enjoyed reading your take on it and I think that you are very faithful to the characters themselves. The writing is beautiful and it flows so very well. It was easy to imagine this as some lost section of "Eclipse." Thanks for writing and sharing.
