i really like what you wrote here. how edward feels her dying and compares it to before when he 'thought' she was dead - that's a really good contrast. and the pain he feels is so real.

Awesome! I thought the EPOV was great. Very consistent with Midnight Sun and his dialogue throughout the books.

Great story! I feel like you really got into Edward's head. I could feel his pain and loss, his guilt, his love and excitement over Renesmee, and especially his love for Bella. I've read lots of stories from Edward's pov regarding this particular scene and I feel like yours is definitely one of the best and most true. Thanks again! Traci P.S. there was only one problem I had... Edward kept referring to Bella as Isabella Swan, and since he was so excited after the wedding and during the honeymoon, I think he would have thought of her as Cullen...or at the least Isabella Swan Cullen.

I think you did very well. Especially liked the emotional content and the commitment Edward makes to Bella that seemed to be lacking in the series. I will be looking for more from you.

The detail you've captured! Right down to Bella's head tossing back and forth with Edward's life-support efforts! And I loved that you ran with Edward's thoughts about Jacob giving up and leaving when he thought Bella was dead. Those were thoughts I had as I read SM's version, too. "Who really loves her here?!" It was obvious. :-)
Fabulous job...and I just finished Deliverence in Jasper's POV...these make nice companion pieces.
Your story was marvelous. Edward is very much in character, and definitely his final thoughts make sense in terms of how much he accepted Bella's change after the fact.

I like this, I really absolutely hated not having Edward's POV on several things in BD. I love how hard he fought for her. The only part that I felt was jarring and kind of took me out of the "mood" of the story was when Edward said he felt and (kind of implied) heard her soul being ripped from heaven. I just didn't like that part very much. I would rather have seen it where he felt her soul coming back to him. Then he could have gone on about having ripped her from her place in heaven to have her here by his side, etc. Do you see what I mean? It's one thing to have us accept and believe that Edward could feel her soul leaving his, and his heart trying to follow, but it's another altogether for us to have to accept that he felt her in heaven, if that makes sense? Not sure. It's kind of a fine point, I know. I'm just that way. :)
Thanks for writing!

I really enjoyed this, it gave words to the way I envisioned this scene happening. I hope you continue through the rest of Bella's transformation and how Edward felt during it and how he felt about Renesmee as well.

Wow. I can't believe you haven't got reviews on this before. Its pitch perfect. If the rest of breaking Dawn had been this way. Edwards perspective instead of Jacobs it would probably be my most favorite book. You've hit on the moment. This is where Edward grows up, this is where they really become one. Awesome Job!!!
