WOW...is all I have to say.

I was not expecting Renee to be bipolar. I use to have a friend that was bipolar. And you're right that it is a very serious illness ande definitely needs to be treated.

It does seem like by Bella revealing her and her mom's relationship to Edward that he is just a little closer to telling Bella his own past.

Oh, and I knwo I said that I would like see Bella and Embry have somehting for a bit...but I think I'm going to take that back. She needs to keep in mind those tingly feelings with Edward...once he comes around. ;)

i am really enjoying this story...so many fun twists :) i so totally think that jacob was with Embry during the phone call, and that he planned the date. specially with how the first date went, Jacob probably thought about doing things that would make Bella comfortable so that she could enjoy Embrys' company. I cant wait for your next update!

oh i cant wait to find out about edwards past! and i caught the hint about bella's mother - there's something about her that were missing as well!

yeah bella is a total pushover, especially about the embry deal, but she does need some kind of dating experience if she is going to try to get Edward.

so i just saw this story today and read the whole thing from the beginning and i wanted to let you know how much im enjoying it. i love the way youve written the characters - i feel theyre much closer to those in the actual books, which i like - and i just love the whole story! i cant wait to find out what happens on date number two and at bella's dinner party.....maybe some more edward/bella moments? theyre my favorite :)

Honestly?  I wouldn't want to go out with someone who was getting pointers from someone who knew me.  The interactions with that person would just be artificial because he had some inside information on what makes me tick, you know?  But that's just me.  Bella clearly has the word 'sucker' written on her forehead.  (Not that being exceptionally nice is always a bad thing, but it can lead you to doing a lot of things that you really don't want to do.)  Great chapter!  (And here's to hoping that her second date with Embry sucks, too!)

Author's Response: I understand your point of view, and I will say Bella's relationship with the La Push boys will become more clear in later chapters.  One thing I would like to point out is that Bella was just as close with Jacob as she was with Embry and Quil.  They were all really close, so Jacob giving Embry pointers isn't as devious as it sounds.  Embry knows Bella well, but he's shy and inexperienced.  Jacob's already engaged and has always been slightly more confident that Embry.  Also, the kind of help Jacob provided will also be revealed.

I'm not judging edward until I learn what happened to his mom.  But it must have been pretty bad for him to be so bitter.  Maybe something self inflicted or a drawn out death, that would create a feeling of extended bitterness, as is evident in his character now...I'm sure that whatever happened, you will write it beautifuly, just as you've managed to do so well so far.   

Hope Bella and Embry will just be friends.

Great chapter!  I'm dying to know what Edward's deal is.  In the meantime I'll be happy with the thought of gorgeous Edward cooking for Bella. :)
