Awww I thought the Epov would answer the question of what he heard in Audrey's mind!  Tease!!!!

It was good to read the epov.  The idea of Edward, Alice and Jasper sitting outside her room in a tree was hilarious.  I didn't know they were so heavily involved from such an early stage.

YES! Epic next chapter! Van squishing! Lol.  Edward shouldn't need to save Audrey from the van if AUdrey is smart and takes precautions - I mean in the books Bella was VERY lucky not to have spilled blood, why would Audrey take the risk?

A good chapter, though I'm hangning out for the next.  (And what did Edward hear??!?!?)

Jess xo

Author's Response:

Hi Jess!

I know... I am a tease. It just isn't the right time to address what Edward heard. That will be answered in time. Although, I hope you got some of your desired answers.

I tried to hint at the Cullens' involvement in early chapters. Remember how Audrey felt as though she was being watched? And you now know why Edward's eyes were Topaz on the first Monday at school instead of black.

Lol! I'm glad you're excited. I'm looking forward to posting EPIC chapter. I like to think that Audrey is smart.

I'm glad that you liked the chapter. I will try and get the next to you soon.

Best wishes,

Karry.

I dont think Edward actually heard her thoughts. Im going to guess it was illegible, very low or whatnot since he asked her what she said. I really want to know why he stormed out of the cafe though. Will hte EPOV go that far or just explain the happenings from earlier in the story? You are killing me here! I HAVE TO KNOW NOW!!!!!

I have to admit that I find your story more captivating that the books. Audrey is such a likable character. She doesnt seem to be so wrapped up in herself like Bella was.

Author's Response:

oooo... interesting speculation. The EPOV won't get as far as Edward storming out of the Cafeteria. It will mainly explain the happenings from earlier in the story. I kinda like how the EPOV turned out. It's just awaiting validation, so it should be up soon. I'm sorry I'm killing you. Truly, I am! lol I can just imagine you grabbing me by the collar and shaking me as if trying to get me to spill some information.

WOW! I'm extremely humbled and flattered. My gosh... seriously? You find my story more captivating?

...Sorry. Someone just had to pick me up off the floor. Well, umm, if Stephenie Meyer hadn't come up with this magnificent world then I couldn't play around with it.

I'm glad you like Audrey. I tried to make Audrey seem as though she deeply cared about people and could easily relate to their situation.

You know what makes this review even more special? You are my 200th reviewer!!!

Thank you so much for the review and the amazing comments!

I love hearing from you,

Karry.

Sorry i havent reviewed in a while. I just got back from a much needed vacation! Im very impatient so getting to read a few chapters back to back was a treat. I was super spooked and  surpriced at the Mavis appearance, it was very unexpected, and i just know it was Edward in her room watching her sleep (which btw, i think is kinda creepy). Just one more chappy to read, Take Care!

Author's Response: That's ok. Please don't feel the need to apologise. I just really appreciate the time you put into writing reviews! I hope you had a wonderful vacation! I hope the story flowed well when you read chapters back to back. I aimed for Mavis' appearance to be a surprise, so I'm glad to hear that it was. The EPOV that awaits validation and that should be hitting your computer screen soon should explain Edward's whereabouts. Thanks so much for your comments. It was loverly to hear from you! You take care, as well, Karry.

This story is getting too good! I think if Edward read her thoughts it might have been about Lauren and Jessica and the rumors they were spreading. Thats all i can come up with : (  Im very antsy about the van incident, if it plays out like it did in Twilight then the Cullen's will be "exposed" to Audrey and im very curious to see how Edward reacts to her knowing/ finding out. Also, i just love that Edward was worried about Audrey. So sweet! Please, please update soon!

Author's Response:

I was just about to head off to bed and then I received the lovely surprise of your review!

Is there such a thing as too good?! Honestly, I'm extremely flattered by your comments.

What Edward supposedly heard will be revealed in time, but that's a very original idea about Lauren and Jessica.

Yes. The van incident is on the horizon, but will it play out how it did in Twilight? It will all depend on Audrey's decisions.

I'm glad that you loved how Edward was worried about Audrey.

I'm trying to finish EPOV, which is what I hope to post next. I had a bit of a set back because I stuck my nose in the path of a goalward soccer ball. I stopped the goal, but I hurt my nose. At least my team won the game, but that prevented me writing.

Thank you so much for the review! I love hearing from you!

All the best,

Karry.

Oooo-are Audrey's parents gonna show up as bad vamps? I just realized that I've read twelve chapters of this story and not reviewed a single one! I feel atrocious! It's a wonderful story actually and I love how in character the characters are but you put your own spin on them and their actions.

I'm definitely continuing this story! Now if I could only figure out how to favorite...

Oh wait...there's a button...

Author's Response:

I will reveal that Audrey's parents will not show up as bad vampires. ;)

Please don't feel atrocious. I really appreciate the review! I'm so glad to see that you like my story.

I endeavour to make the characters as close to canon as possible, but it's good to know that you appreciate my own little spin on them.

It's great to know that I have a new reader. Thanks for favouriting the story.

I hope to hear from you again.

Many thanks,

Karry.

I LOVE THIS. Just thought you would like to know.

I'm really curious to find out what he heard and what exactly caused that window to be open!

I am so excited for the next chapter!

Author's Response:

You were right - I love knowing that you love my story! Thank you for letting me know.

I think that the EPOV might clear up some of what your curious about.

It's lovely to hear that I've captured your interest.

Thank you for the review and I hope to hear from you in the future,

Karry.

This is a really awesome story!  I happened upon it this morning and have been reading chapters between projects at work.  I am absolutely loving it!

Author's Response:

Thank you so much, Melanie! I'm so glad that you found the story and are loving it! Reading comments like yours makes my day all the more brighter!

I'd love to know what you think of future chapters. I'm currently writing an EPOV.

Hope that my story is not distracting you too much from your work (a little distraction is ok ;) ),

Karry.

WHAT DID HE HEAR?!! OH MY GOSH, COME UPDATE! YOU CAN NOT LEAVE ME LIKE THAT! WHAT DID HE HEAR?!!

& i'm happy she was late, isn't this the day tyler crowley was supposed to hit her? or is that tomorrow? i don't feel like going bck to read LOL, anyways she got some alone time w/ edward ;]

& yes, as soon as audrey decided to chill i her car, i knew edward was going to appear.

yes, i love their interactions... but what did he hear? i read back, & she wasn't thinking about vampires when he heard her, at least not consciously... WHAT DID HE HEAR?!!!

maybe two weeks awww =/

Author's Response:

So I'm guessing you want to know what Edward heard... am I right? LOL You'll just have to wait and see. I don't want to spoil the story for you, but I will write all the more faster for you!

It wasn't the day that Tyler's van was supposed to hit her. That is on Tuesday. Her lateness didn't mean that she missed the van incident. The van incident is what will make next chapter EPIC.

I was hoping people would like Audrey's alone time with Edward.

Maybe Edward didn't hear exactly what was on her mind at the time... ? oooo you've made me drop a hint because of your eagerness. lol

Thank you so much for the review! As always, all the best,

Karry.

Update soon please!

I've started university again so that chews up some of my writing time. Ill let you know when Im going to update via Twitter. All the best and thanks for the review, Karry.

Urgh!! Karry!!!

You let us to die of curiosity!! You mean mean girl!!

I Love Audrey and Edward's interaction, it seams so... so real! Despite the fact that this is an imaginary world, with vampires and magic books it could have been a conversation between to young people falling in love with each other.

What Edward heard... I don't know but it should be something that makes this the turning point in the story. I think...

Oh! Was it your birthday that you were talking about in the last post? If so i hope you had a great time!

You're back to school so soon? Aren’t these your summer vacations? We have at least a month of summer vacations before we go back. Doesn't it work that way there?

So, today's word is: Saudade. This word has no translation as a single word in any other language and they say that it defines our culture. It means: missing someone, or better, it is what you feel when you miss someone. I don’t know if you know what Fado is, but it is a type of song, something like Samba for brazil...  Anyway Fado is traditionally Portuguese and it is very related whit the feeling Saudade. Fado means fate, like "it was your fate to became a writer", but with a sad felling to it, like "it was his fate to not be loved".

Ok, i'm done with the Portuguese history lesson (so sorry!!) and if you want to hear a Fado i'll email one to you.

A huge kiss to you, good work and update soon!!

Vera

Author's Response: Hi Vera. Lol I'm sorry!

I'm glad you think that Edward and Audrey's interaction seemed real - that's what I aim for! I think what Edward heard will surprise you.

It was my birthday on the 13th July and I had an amazing high tea party. It was beautiful! Thank you. I did have a wonderful time.

I couldn't believe that my holidays were so short, as well. I'm back at university. That was my winter break. I'm in the southern hemisphere so when you're sweating it out over summer, I'm rugged up with a blanket and sitting in front of the fire. In terms of my summer break, I get about 3 months off. School students get about 6 weeks off.

Thanks for the words! I love the Portuguese history lesson! I love music so I'd love to hear a Fado. My email address is just my pen name at hotmail dot com.

You're brilliant, Vera! Thank you so much for the review and the Portuguese lessons! A huge hug back, Karry.

Oh no!! What will happen if Edwward isn't there for the van?! Oh please oh please post again soon. I love these stories where an original character finds their way into the novels!

Author's Response: Unfortunately, you'll just have to wait and see. I'm going to try and post as soon as I can. I really want to write next chapter. I'm glad that you're enjoying the story. Lovely to hear from you, Karry.

i know you are probobly british or austrailian, but the word 'whilst'just doesnt fit well. remember stephanie is an american writer and the use of that word is not in her vocabulary.

Author's Response: I appreciate the constructive criticism, midnightgirl. :) I am Australian and I know that 'whilst' is not used by Americans. To be honest, I tend to use it automatically. You're right in saying that Stephenie Meyer wouldn't use it, but I figure, since the story is being told from the POV of Audrey, who is an Australian, she would have the word 'whilst' in her vocabulary. In the same way, Audrey will say "Mum" instead of "Mom". When I write chapters from Edward's point of view I will not use the word 'whilst".

I will try and not use whilst so much. :) I really appreciate the review, Karry.

awesome!! i really like ur stories, ur writting to entertain us and u enjoy writing; im glad ur not like evryone else who only writes about sex!

Author's Response: I'm glad that you like the story and my writing style. This is my first attempt at writing fiction so that means a lot. I know what you mean. Stories dominated by sexual encounters aren't my cup of tea and I don't think sex is needed to make a good story. Twilight, Harry potter and pride and prejudice are testaments to that.

Oh gosh.  And I thought I was hooked last chapter.  This Chapter was a whole truckload of awesome.  I did not expect to find out so quickly  about Edward's visits and the carpark scene was very cool (somemuch needed Edward time if you ask me.)

Loved the snowy day action.  I have to say I have no idea what he would have heard or even if he made sense of it.  I wonder if he just heard a suggestion - a mumur like with Charlie. He was disturbed by it though. Questions, Questions.

As per-normal - hope things are going well for you.  I ave to say thanks for your hints in your replys -- it helped me deal with the crazy.  I did find your replys only after writing and posting my last review so my apologies for continuing to ask the same questions.  I can't wait for the phenomenon chapter - exciting.  I wonder if there will be an incident or will Audrey - ever the resourceful Aussie - purposely avoid it or will she court the incident in the hopes of opening up more detailed discussion with Edward and his family.  That would be very risky! Maybe too risky! We shall see.  As always thanks - best wishes for the recommencement of hostilities at Uni.

Author's Response: Wow! Thanks so much for the review! I'm glad you enjoyed Edward's presence in the chapter. I know... More questions will eventually be answered. There interesting ideas about what Edward heard. Things are going well for me. I hope everything is well with you. No need to apologize. I'm excited about writing phenomenon. I like the idea of Audrey the ever resourceful Aussie, but after the events of Monday you'll just have to see how Audrey responds. ;) thanks for the well wishes. I just got back from uni and boy was it tough today. I have to try and digest some horribly difficult looking maths formulas to do with fluid mechanics. I'd much rather be writing. Hope you have a great week. Until we speak again, Karry.
