Hi! I like the concept of this story, Esme's pov doesn't get explored very often. My suggestion for the next chapter would be your second option, Edward coming home after speaking to Bella for the first time; I don't think I've read any FF's about that day yet, and it would be interesting to see what Esme thinks about it (she already thinks Edward has a crush, so the mother in her might take over a bit more and expand that line of thought as Edward often suggested in Twilight).
I like the scene after Edward has saved Bella's life, but I feel like skipping over him talking to her just leaves out Esme's view of their budding relationship.
You're doing a good job so far though, keep it up!! :o)
Author's Response: Thanks for the review! Sorry, I hate to tell you this, but I'm pretty sure I'm going to be doing option three, as I've written about half of that chapter already, but I'm not sticking strictly to Midnight Sun canon on that account, so it's taking a while. (I understand what Stephenie means when she was talking about how hard that bit was to write!) But thanks a lot for your suggestions, and don't worry, I don't include the bit where Edward talks to Bella afterwards, I wouldn't be allowed to anyway, Esme wasn't there.
hopefully the next chapter should be out soonish (no promises) but then again, I did say that on FF about three months ago.......whoopsie ;)

I really liked this story, it's great that you chose Esme's POV. I saw you worked on it a long time ago, but I hope you haven't given up on it, it's really good.
Yes it's true, longer chapters are prefered by readers. but when the story is good, we don't mind shorter ones. I hope you decide to continue.

Wow I am loving this!!
I like option #3 mainly because that was fun to read in Midnight Sun but I also thought it didn't have enough tension and sense of a serious family feud. I also like Esme/Edward stuff just because I think their relationship is soo cute hehe.
But please, please keep writing!

I'd shoot for #3. And feel free to bring on the Esme and Carlisle stuff. I love them! I feel bad you haven't updated in awhile and have received only a few reviews. I think your piece is wonderful and shows fresh insight. Love missing moments! Keep going!!
Author's Response: Thanks for your review, stuff like that makes me want to update. And makes me want to hug people. Enjoy your cyber spaghetti! LOL

Esme is so motherly. I'm glad you added a little talk with Edward in there.

I just stumbled onto this fic and I have to say I really enjoy seeing Esme's POV. She is such a minor character in the books although it is obvious how much Edward loves her and that she does view him as her son. I can't wait to read more.
