She mothered his daughter, unbeknownst to him. Now she's a small town teacher with a bestseller and a broken heart, hiding her true feelings from the rest of the world. He's America's hottest actor, cheerful for the cameras, but he doesn't have his family fooled.

She can't go anywhere without seeing his face and he can't go one second without thinking about her. They've both made mistakes, and they've both screwed up. They both wish that they could move on, but neither of them is ready to give up on the past, no matter how much pain is caused in the process.

The Dogs of War is Twilight, reimagined. It is a darker reimagining, in which the vampires and the werewolves are locked in a war to eradicate one another. Edward is assigned by Carlisle, who is a leader for the vampires in the war, to tail Bella because she is close to Jacob Black, a wolf of high importance to the vampires. But, he falls for the young woman he is assigned to get close to, which will cause problems when the war inevitably reaches new heights. 

Content is Mature; includes harsh language, violence, and explicit adult material. The mood or 'atmosphere' for the story is dark at times.

Bella seeks refuge from horrible nightmares at a small all-night diner, where Edward is the new night-shift waiter. Together they help save and heal each other from their pasts and lonely existences, but can they overcome one important obstacle to be together?

Bella comes to the saddest of realizations. Who said her little piece of forever had to be perfect? 

A simple visit to La Push beach one summer day turns everything Paul ever knew right on its head. The nastiest shock of his life – second only to phasing into a werewolf, of course – is quite possibly discovering that Jake is his potential brother-in-law.

The trials facing Paul include Jake's imminent return and the underlying vampire threat, while the rest of the pack (particularly Leah) really isn't helping.

How will Rachel react to discovering that the legends of the place she fled are true – and they're not letting her go any time soon?

Because this is Breaking Dawn, we know how the story goes, but how does it look from the other side? The most volatile of the La Push werewolves is in for the time of his life...
