Even while I was 17 years old, I still enjoyed talking to my Dad, unlike any other teenager who seemed to be so obsessed with hating everyone in the world. Including themselves.

“I know someday you will understand this. One day, it won’t be German letters-”

“Chinese,” I interrupted. I was fluent in German. I would have been able to understand every single word that the textbook was saying.

It's 1919, and Tanya sees Carlisle and his newborn vampire walking across the snowy winter landscape towards her house.  Nothing will ever be the same for her or for Carlisle again.  See Edward as a newborn, a rebellious killer, as his family grows, and as he grows into the vampire we know and love him as today.

Bella is a nurse working her way to med school. Edward has just moved back to Seattle for a mysterious reason. They meet as strangers, but soon find out they know more about each other than they thought.

Riley died at the end of Eclipse, but we never really knew how he got there. We just know that Victoria told him she loved him, and that he had cared for the newborns. This is the story of Riley as I see it: cold and independent - Victoria took him away.
