We all believe that Edward and Bella are meant to be together...but what if there’s more to that than meets the eye?

What if there are forces at work that they don’t understand? How will they cope with events that have no discernable meaning?

This story starts out two weeks before Bella and Edward’s wedding. But, right away, things go wrong. They struggle with mishap after mishap, all the while wondering if they’re destined to be at the center of conflict and angst.

All the major characters of Twilight appear. Canon couples. Lemons in various chapters. This is a more realistic view of Edward and Bella’s relationship before the wedding. He certainly wouldn’t carry her off to a desert island alone, having never even touched her. They would have experimented a bit.

Eventually all characters get their Happily Ever After. I just drag them through hell before we get there. No characters die before their time.

And I’ve adhered to canon up until the story starts—Post Eclipse. After that, it diverges from SM’s version. So...no Renesmee. No pregnancy.

I’ve poured my heart and soul into this story. It took me over a year to complete. I thought about it constantly. For that hard work and diligence to form, grammar and style, I’d like just one tiny thing from you, the reader.

Bella and her older brother Emmett share the same birthday, though they are two years apart. On Emmett's sixth, and Bella's Fourth birthday they are in a terrible accident. Both Charlie and Renee are pronounced dead at the scene. Months later a family adopts Emmett, they plan to come back for Bella in two weeks time. Two weeks later when they arrive to pick her up, they are told she has been adopted by another family, and that the orphanage is not allowed to give out names of adoptive parents. The family tries for years to find her, but have no such luck.

Meanwhile, Bella is living with Victoria and James, Who own a strip club. Victoria and James force all of the girls they have adopted to work at the strip club, and to have sex with any man who will pay. On Bella's 17th birthday the cops finally bring the operation down. And Bella is put back into the system, but no one wants a depressed and traumatized girl in their home. So she is put into a program called Project Hope, where foster families apply and are given children who know one else wants. She is sent to live with a family in Forks, Washington. She desperately wants to find her brother. But when her demons come back to haunt her will she be able to survive? Or will she end it?

The Cullens need help, and Alice has seen the strange vampire who will save their family. This story is told from the point of view of Mia, a vampire with a strange and terrifying power. This power could save the Cullen clan, but if Bella drops her shield even for a moment, there may be nothing left to save...

What if Riley had been telling the truth about Diego the whole time? How might of the story gone if things were true? Bree’s PoV
