Bella and her brother Emmett are sent from their home town in country Victoria, Australia to Forks, a small town in Washington State, America, to live with their Uncle Charlie after the death of their parents in a car accident. Mainly told from Bella's POV, follow the pair as they navigate the differences in language, behaviour and customs between the two countries.

Bella needs to find a job and, with the recession, has a difficult time finding one until she comes across an executive assistant position at Cullen & Whitlock Publishing. Landing the guy is not as easy as landing the job. She has a difficult time dealing with her narcissistic and attractive boss, Edward, and the sweet and charming co-founder, Jasper. Bella thinks Edward is keeping secrets from her, but will she be able deal with the consequences of them when she discovers what they are?

He lives in reality, barely dreaming about things that will never happen. She's your average daydreamer, imagining things out of this world. What happens if these two meet somewhere in between the reality he lives in and the dreams she imagines?

The reunion scene in Volterra, re-told. Edward, rather than being serene, is much more visibly shocked and relieved at the sight of Bella, alive. Also, Felix and Demetri take their time in interrupting, so these two have plenty of time to hash out the details.

Summary for After All - Bella is in a car crash that kills her mother and Phil, leaving her with many physical and emotional injuries. She returns to Washington to be closer to her father and best friends, trying to find a way to put her life back together.
