With a family of his own to protect and the Volturi coming to once and for all put an end to the Olympic Coven, Jason must go to battle with Aro and the Guard one final time.
However with Aro's wrath so great that he is willing to suspend all vampire laws in order to raise a newborn army of such a scale as to guarantee his victory, the odds are stacked firmly against the Cullens and their allies.
Jason knows, they all know, that above all else, the children must be protected and so they will hold back nothing and sacrifice everything in order to assure the safety of Harry, Chloe, and Renesmee.

This story serves to fill in Alice and Jasper's adventures away from the Cullen family during Breaking Dawn, and is second in an intended series based strongly in existing canon. Prologue
The truest and simplest fact of life is that nothing last forever. It doesn’t matter if you are human or otherwise; someone out there holds your life in their hands. But things don’t always happen the way you expect them to. Sometimes an individual comes along and intervenes; effectively postponing the evitable. For the Cullen clan and their friends, that intervention was me. They were living in what was a seemingly perfect existence, but each and every one of them had a sickening feeling in the pits of their stomachs. There was a threat overshadowing them that desired nothing more than to destroy their serenity.
I could say that I choose to get involved because it was the right thing to do, but that would just sound cliché. The true is that I did it for vengeance. I did it out of anger, hatred and resentment. I did it for regret, guilt and to atone for the lives I had destroyed. I did it for a moral belief in justice and that all have the right to live their lives without fear that someday someone will come along and destroy everything they hold dearest. I did it for the family I had lost and the one I had to gain. And I did it for love. I could have just as easily walked away and never looked back, but had I done that, I wouldn’t have been me.
My name is Taven Curry and I am a vampire. It sound strange, but believe me, there are far stranger things in this world than just vampires. I am not what you would call your typical vampire; in more ways that one. For example, my moral compass points true north. I have a very clear understanding of what is right and what is wrong. However, just because I know when something is wrong doesn’t mean I always follow in suit. I am far from a saint. I have loyally and willingly served a trio of tyrants who stood for everything I hated and threatened to destroy the last person alive who remember who I once was before I became the monster. I have also hunted, killed; feed and I would be lying if I said I didn’t enjoy it. A moment of true satisfaction for an eternity of regret. A burden of guilt that I am happy to bare. With the things I am capable of, I fear for the world and all its inhabitance should the day come when the darkness consumes me completely.
There is one thing that all vampires have in common; we were not always. I was human once, normal…well as normal as any seventeen year old pubescent male can be. I had a family once and friends. And I had one best friend that I care about more than anyone in the entire world and she changed mine more than once. A very larger part of who I was, who I became and who I am is because of her influence. Life has a twisted sense of humor and a way of altering a person permanently in the most unexplainable ways. She had changed my life when I was human, but neither in my wildest dream nor my darkest nightmares did I ever expect her to do it again in my life as vampire. Though time and circumstances had separated Bella and me for years, another circumstance had brought us back together and in the end she was my saving grace.

Summary: This is the sequel to Socially Awkward Vampires, so if you haven't read that, you should probably read it first.
Carlisle is all set to become the fourth member of the Volturi brethern. But Alice has a vision of the future that will change not only the Cullen's lives, but the entire world as we know it. Thankfully, Alice's visions aren't set in stone. The Cullens just have to figure out what decisions to make and to create the right set of circumstances to change the outcome. Will they be able to do it? Will they survive?

Told with angst and humor, just as SAV was. Oh, and the Cliffhanger Anonymous 12-step program didn't completely cure me, so there will be some cliffies in there too.
