However, everything comes to a dangerous halt when the all-important alumni disc, containing information that could compromise every undercover agent in the field, is stolen. Now, Edward and Bella must go undercover into the heart of the enemy, digging up what they can find to retrieve the alumni as quickly as possible, all the while trying to ignore their growing attraction for one another.

Bella can't explain her strange attraction to the new boy in town.  When she finally admits to herself that it could be love, she also must resign herself to having nothing beyond friendship with him.  But, when she finds out her love is requited, how does she handle the fact that he is leaving for college?  And once she has moved on, what will she do if he returns wanting more than friendship?  Sometimes timing can be a girl's worst enemy.
