This story recognizes canon up to the battle with the newborns in Eclipse, veering into AU territory shortly thereafter. Though Riley is destroyed, Victoria escapes, causing a chain of unexpected events. (Jacob is not injured during the fight and there is no appearance by Bree or the Volturi at the end of the battle in this universe.) Chapters will alternate between Bella, Jacob, Edward, and OC's POVs. Please note that though some actions may be bit OOC, it is only to allow for further character development.
