I'm a stay at home mom, a former high school teacher who has always loved to read. I discovered Twilight after the movie was released. I picked up the first book of the Saga at the local grocery store out of curiousity becasue of the hype from the movie. After reading Twilight, I was hooked and ran out to buy the next three books. Luckily, by the time I discovered this awesome story, all the books were already out, so I didn't suffer the torture of having to wait for the next one. I ran out to see Twilight before it left the theatres, and have it on DVD, Although, after watching New Moon, I'm no longer crazy about the movie. I feel the same way about Breaking Dawn now, with all the fabulous fanfiction out here, I enjoy some of the creative alternative endings much more than the original work! Don't get me wrong, I love SM, I'm just not crazy about BD. Eclipse is my fave! Reading fanfiction has also inspired me to write. I just completed my first series that is posted on the twilight saga, and fanfiction.net, I've started a new story and recently submitted my first chapter of my first story in my TSAJ series here at twilighted. I decided to take a chance and see if I can hang with the big boys and girls here at this wonderful site!  LOL!!! I am also an civil war buff, and enjoy historical fiction, travelling, family activiites, shopping and cooking. I am married to a wonderful man, and have two beautiful children ages 9 and 5.
