Beta-reader:

Hello! My name is Whittney, and I'm just another Twilight fanatic. ;) I got into writing fanfics awhile back, and Twilight seems to be the only subject matter into which I fall.

I'm a college student majoring in writing. I room with a good friend, live off of ramen noodles, work a horrid fast food job, and spend an obsessive amount of time on Twilighted reading and writing fics. I write a great deal of poetry and stories outside of fanfics, but this is my private little escape that I enjoy. I tend to be better at writing from a guy's point of view. Don't ask me why.

I like to think that I'm Team Switzerland, but, the truth is, I was leaning pretty heavily toward Team Edward when I read the books, and then pretty much fell face-first into Team Jacob after the movies came out. However, I can see plenty of great qualities in both guys. Maybe I've just always been a fan of the underdog though, the guy that goes after what he wants no matter what. Maybe because the guy I picked in real life is much more of  Jake than an Edward. Either way, I've seemed to have crossed the line into Team Jacob now, especially since I've found him so interesting to write my fanfics on. So, call me Team Switzerland with a nice appreciation for Jacob. ;)

As far as my stories on here go, you'll find that most of them focus on Jacob. My advice though? Don't read Chosen. It was my first real story for this site, and though I liked how it started out, I started losing inspiration for it halfway through. It might have been because I was struck by the idea for Asking Too Much (which I do suggest you read if you're interested in my stuff), or it might have been because I was planning to make Edward the final victor and started to realize that I wanted Jacob to win. One day, I plan on redoing Chosen, but, until then, it might disappoint you. :P

Anyway, I hope that you've enjoyed whatever you may have read from me, and feel free to leave reviews or to even e-mail me if there is something you'd like to discuss. I'm very friendly!

Oh, and, if you're interested, I have a bit of a blog.

Summary:

It should have been easy to leave Jake behind, as easy as it had been for him

to let her go. Part of her had sort of hoped he’d phase and alpha-command her not to leave,

but he didn’t. She left angry, knowing that she shouldn’t have expected anything else. She should never have let him kiss her in the first place, behind the church, in a moment of weakness.

What could she have done to prevent it? Seeing Emily in that wedding dress—Sam standing

beside her, looking absolutely moronic with that grin on his face. It had torn her straight in half. A few years to heal hadn’t been enough to erase the damage. Sam had been her first love, and she’d promised to never fall in love again.

What she felt for Jacob was hardly love, but it had come with a glimpse of a future she was hungry for: one with a man of her own, a blissful lack of awareness of the existence

of Sam Uley. She obviously wasn’t going to find that in La Push. She hadn’t stood a chance against Emily when Sam had imprinted, and whatever it was that Jacob felt for Bella Swan

was just as bad.

He’d told her his secret: how he felt trapped, but that didn’t change the fact that he never intended to free himself. Kissing and touching were fine, but she wanted what Bella had—

which was all of Jacob without restrictions.

When Edward left her broken and alone, Jacob scooped Bella back onto her feet. For three years, he's tried only to mold her back into a person, but he's sacrificed more of himself than he'd hoped to. Becoming everything that Bella needed while knowing that he'd always be second best to Edward, Jacob stripped himself of everything that he was. His only chance to live again--through the most unlikely person of all--might be fast disappearing as well if Leah makes good on her escape plan.

Emily is throwing Sam a surprise party for his 30th Birthday. Against everyone's better judgment, Leah's on the guest list, and she doesn't plan on coming quietly. When she starts to disturb the order of the party, Jacob takes it into his own hands to reign Leah in before she can ruin everything and make a fool of herself. However, Leah doesn't plan on making anything easy, and Jake soon finds that he may be getting in over his head. Sam's birthday cake won't be the only casualty when Leah's provoked.

Summary:

"Don't forget me, Bella. I can't forget you."

"Jake."

Why couldn't she say that she wanted me?

I wished she'd say something other than just my name.

I needed to hear her tell me that she wanted me.

I wanted to hear her tell me that she loved me. Just once.

Even if it was only in a dream. Even if it'd never really mean anything.

I didn't want to be a wolf. I didn't want to imprint.

I just wanted to be Jacob, and I wanted Bella Swan to be mine.

The edges of my dream began to blur.

Everything felt so indistinct, the quality of Bella,

of my feelings and her touch, going bland and unimpressive.

Even in my dream world, I couldn't touch her.

I couldn't be with her.

"Jacob," Bella called my name.

"I love you." It was Renesmee's voice.

-------

Driven away from his home by the sight of a wedding invitation,

Jacob Black has fled far from the boundaries of La Push to the sandy beaches of Florida—miles away from Bella Swan and the pain of his past. Cutting himself off from his old life, Jacob has become a new man, and he has also, consequently, lost the ability to phase.

Regardless of his own sacrifices, Jacob has found peace and a new life

outside of Bella, and spends his days carelessly free in the heat of the sun.

That is until a new and unusual presence stirs up the ghosts of his past and reawakens something inside of Jacob that he had hoped would lie dormant forever:

Love.

Summary:

I’d given her up.

I was done. That was it. I couldn’t take any more.

We’d played this game several times before, but I figured I had seen the end.

I thought by now she’d have the decency to cut me off,

because we both knew, too well, that I wouldn’t be the one to do it.

I can only be the shoulder for so long

when she persists to run back to that creep that keeps breaking her heart.

Oh well. Not my problem.

Even though she’s turned up again.

Even though she’s sleeping in my bed,and I’m stuck here on the couch again.

I can ignore the dreams and the desire, okay?

This is the last time.

Jacob Black has done the best to pick up the pieces that Bella Swan left him with and move on. He has a steady job, his own place, and no one to rely on him but himself. Though he might be dogged by persistent memories, he’s content.

That is until the day he sees her face on the television screen, right next to the man she left him for: Edward Cullen. Though it’s the last thing he wants to admit, Jacob knows there’s no way he can compete. Edward’s a senator now—wealthy, charming, prestigious: everything that Jacob believes he’s not. Though he knows every perfect marriage holds its own dark secrets, Jacob feels that he’s fighting a lost battle, and he’s about ready to call it quits.

But can he break it off so easily when Bella Cullen shows up at his doorstep again?

 This is a Bella&Jacob fic.

Summary:

Jacob never planned to be a werewolf, never intended to fall in love with Bella Swan, and certainly never wanted to become involved in a bizarre triangle that would rip his heart in two.

Least of all, he never expected to find his mate through an imprint that targeted Bella's own daughter. Crushed by the undeniable power of the imprint, Jacob has become smothered underneath the strength of his wolf genes, and he's finally figured out how one single choice can change everything.

For Jacob Black, a single diamond ring can mean the end of everything as he knew it.

Summary:

In all honesty, I knew that Jacob was better for me.

At least while I was human, anyway.

When Edward left me desolate and despairing, Jake found me.

He put me back together again. He resurrected me.

I should have been thankful. If nothing else, I should have obediently

fallen in love with him directly after, even if it was only a twisted sort

of hero worshipping love. He was my savior, my sun, my fresh air.

But Edward had always been the drug that pulled me under.

Even fresh from addiction, I can't help but be sucked in again.

One taste of Edward Cullen is never enough.

Three years have passed since Edward left Bella broken in the woods. Edward never came back, and Bella never sought him near a fountain in a crowd in Italy. A friendship between Bella and Jacob has blossomed into something more, though not quite to the degree--at least for Bella--as what was between her and Edward. However, things have gone on and the passing of time has cemented new relationships and altered a different reality. But will everything crumble when Edward breaks his vow to stay away? A 21-year-old woman, Bella feels a lot like an 18-year-old girl when her past returns to claim her. With two super human men vying for her heart, Bella must find a way to make the decision that has apparently been put on hold the past several years--a decision that could change the fate of more than the three people involved. And that could very well be the least of her problems.

Summary:

In my fanfic, I have taken two scenes directly from New Moon and written them from Edward's prospective. The characters, the plot line, and everything related obviously belong to Stephenie Meyer. I just wanted to visualize how Edward would have felt during two crucial moments in the plot. It's a one shot short story, so there won't be more to this as far as I can see.
