Ascension of the Morning Star is a novel-length work that offers an alternative to Breaking Dawn.  The work is represented in two books, Evening Star and Morning Star.  Each book will appear as a separate story on this site.  This is Part I.

In Part I:  Evening Star, we find Bella and Edward preparing for their marriage.  From engagement to wedding night the whirlwind of 55 planning days is a roller coaster of emotion, intrigue,and surprises for everyone. Exploring sexuality & intimacy, will Edward be ready?  As the big day draws nearer, everyone realizes this is a good-bye, but not everyone realizes how true that is... 

The facets of their transition to marriage are much the same as other young couples, however, they are not like any other young couples and they face a specific set of challenges on their way to the altar.  Their journey will force the Cullen family to confront the demons of their hearts and rediscover their connection to humanity they thought to be lost forever.  Even the humans find compelling forces of change in their lives because of this one strange human. A young woman's presence has altered the destiny of those she loves.

The story of Ascension of the Morning Star continues with Part II.  A major shift in tone, action, and impact from Part I.  Hang on to your hats.  It is a thunderbolt from the begining and rarely lets up.  Whereas Part I is light and laughter, Part II is darkness and tears.

When Bella's transformation is not a dream come true, the future is anything but assured, yet, one thing is clear.  By her existence, she will rock the foundations of both the human and mythical worlds.   Although there are bright signs of possibility in unexpected places, but the question is simply this:  Would you follow your destiny if you knew it would cost you your eternal life?
