Where to begin. Well. This is my first time doing any type of creative writing. I am used to whipping up boring expository writings. My favorite excuse is that this is my first piece of writing that doesn't include a bibliography.
As a teacher, I try to challenge my students to step outside of their comfort zone. Well, after reading the Twilight Saga by Stephenie Meyer, on a whim I may add, my students offered me the same challenge. So...here I am, attempting to write for you.
Ultimately, my students are my critics. I don't feel the need to beg for feedback from readers, however it is appreciated. If there is some thing that brings out a strong reaction, good or bad, people will say something. If not...I just hope that they enjoy the story.
My Life's Mantra:
Life doesn't get easier; just more interesting.
Things in life may not be difficult, just a new experience.
One adapts to the world around them, yet challenging themselves to make a difference.
I live for my girls; and to find my inner self.
I write to challenge my ability,
I run to get those creative juices flowin'
In life, I am no one special,
Ok...as of today, October 29, 2010, I have taken Intelligence Isn't Everything down. I am in the process of re-writing it. I am making it better. I am in a different place right now in my life versus where I was several years ago when I frist started planning it out and wrtiting it. I would like to think that my writing style has matured, therefore, a more....mature approach to the story. The plot will still remain relatively untouched...relatively. It will be better written.
Thank you for everyone that has helped me out, given me direction and inspiration...you will be properly thanked when the story goes back up!
