I'm a midwestern girl who only first read twilight in late 2011. Call it denial, it's neither here nor there. This is my first attempt at public writing so be kind!

Summary: Beautiful Banner By CrimsonIceGoddess
Holly McNamera is twenty-three years old, and finally ready to begin her life. She and her brother, Josh, grew up and spent their childhood in the small town of Forks, WA. When Holly was just thirteen, their mother was killed in a horrific car accident and fate put the siblings on two very different paths.
Josh went off to college later that same year and never looked back. Holly stayed behind to take care of her self-abusive father for the next ten years of her life, until he put himself into an early grave.
All alone, and on her own, Holly is restless for change. She journeys to Seattle to find Josh and settle the rift that has been between them for more than a decade. She stumbles into the refined world of the Cullens, where Josh is a partner at Cullen McNamera, the most prestigious law firm in Seattle. The icy reception she receives from her brother is hard on Holly, but her budding relationship with Edward has her throwing caution to the wind. When the firm puts away three of the biggest white-collar criminals in the city's history, Holly will soon find that her very presence in a world she does not belong to, may be her, and her new found family's, undoing.
