So, hi there. :)
I'm an amatuear writer but most definitely an avid reader - of all things. I'm currently studying at college for my A-Levels in the UK (English Literature being one of my courses, of course). It's fulfilling but challenging, too.
My story ideas are influenced by lots of things, and I want to thank you if you ever take the time to read Involuntary Commitment. I was inspired after reading Cosmopolis to incorporate the maddeningly crazy and interesting Eric into the Twilight Universe. Risky? Yes. Can I pull it off? You tell me. ;)
I guess that's all. See you around! :)
(p.s. if you'd like to check out more of my stories, simply go to: www.fanfiction.net/~cynicaldreamerc)
Jobless and troubled, Bella is in desperate search for an occupation. She finds one at Forks Mental Institution. She soon enough becomes acquainted with the inmates there, but how will she cope with the strains of trying to fix severely damaged people? Especially since she may need fixing herself? What challenges will she face? And perhaps most importantly, how will she make the involuntarily committed seem free?
"We need to feel inflamed, but what alights us is what restricts us."
Twilight/Cosmopolis crossover. Bella x Eric x cryptic dialogue.
"They're all here for the same reason, essentially," Jasper says, smoothing down his shirt. "The levels go up depending on the severity of the disorder of the patients." He pauses. "Level four patients are those who are considered a vital threat to the lives of people around them, or their own." His eyes catch hers, his blue deep and meaningful. "They aren't here on their own will."
It dawns on Bella. And she knows what he's going to say before he does. "So they're . . . " she starts.
He nods. "Involuntarily committed."
