About me...
Well, I'm 24 and I live in Chicago. I make my living as technical writer and keep my sanity as a theater chick. As I have to tell someone at least once a month, I don't have a degree in English or Theater, but in Public Policy, which is...difficult to explain. Suffice to say, I can overanalyze anything at any time. I'm probably bound for law school in the fall, but the where is a bit up in the air at the moment.
I haven't written much fan fiction in the past, but the Twilight world just seems to cry out for it. I believe strongly in writing as a form of therapy, a vehicle for addressing things in your own life or a means of escape from them. As a result, I tend to feel very strongly about my work and it can be a little difficult to put it out there for other people to read and judge. Fortunately, I have found Twilighted to be an amazingly supportive community and I value each and every review accordingly.
As a rule, I prefer cannon stories, although a good "what if" can also be enjoyable. I sometimes don't see the point of all human stories ('cus then they're different characters who happen to share names and some personality traits with Twilight denziens), but I'll read it if the hook is right. Oh, and real person stories creep me the heck out, so I stay away from them.
