I have a minor in creative writing but have been out of practice since RL reared it's ugly head.
So here I am, dusting off my computer, relearning how to type and totally enjoying myself.

With the recent discussions on the Twilighted Forum regarding warnings about sensitive subject matter, the baise towards certain authors of Fanfiction and the subject matter that I write about, I feel compelled to say a few things.
I do not condon rape. It is a crime and if found guilty in a court of law it should be punishible. But everyone needs to understand that rape is not always black and white. There are circumstances. There are outside influences. There are things that effect and sway any and every decision regarding this very sensitive topic. Every case is unique. Every case is not clear cut.
That being said, I give my support to Sigolily and Psymom. I am a survivor of rape. and I am more offended by those that stiffle free speech, communication and sharing of valuable life experiences that give knowledge and information to its readers than the perpertrator of my crime. He has been punished.
Muting someone else voice, creativity and opinions in my view is worse.
