Summary:  It was said of early vampire books and movies that vampirism was simply a poorly disguised substitute for sex. Back in the day, the entire genre was considered extremely risque'. With that in mind, this is a parody of Midnight Sun replacing all the vampirism with sexuality - no blood lust - just extreme human lust. AH/AU and consequently, OOC. Your "monster" references are wonderfully comical! My fiancee has decided I am too strange to marry, because I keep allowing short bursts of laughter to escape :)
Summary: You know those fics where Edward doesn't come back and Bella forgets about him and five seconds later she's in bed with Jacob and none of it makes any damn sense?
Yeah, this isn't one of them.
This story picks up from the moment in New Moon when Jacob has driven Bella home after the cliff diving incident, right before he catches the scent of Alice. Only in this telling, Alice wasn't looking, so there's no sudden appearance at Bella's house, no Rosalie calling Edward and sending him on a suicidal mission to Volterra, and no reason for Bella to do anything but believe that Edward didn't love her anymore. This is simply a story of what might have happened if everyone stayed mostly in character and Edward's return was delayed. Yes, delayed. Because we all know that he was "this close" to coming back on his own anyhow.
So what would have happened if Bella had tried to move on with her life? Would she have found happiness with Jacob? And would Edward be too late?

Title: Chapter 73: Distractions: Bella's POV
Okay, so I just read the entire before reveiwing...for a couple reasons. One, it seemed weird to reveiw when there were still so many chapters left to read. Two, I couldn't make myself take the TIME to reveiw when all I wanted to do was read more. And three...I don't remember. But there was a third.
You are an AMAZING writer! I laughed, I cried, I snickered, I giggled, I glared...so wonderful. I noticed something though...you really are NOT a fan of Jessica are you? I have read other stories with Jessica in them, and I do not believe that anyone has portrayed quite the same hatred for her that you do :) Well done. I enjoy her.
I will be stalkerishly checking this story, hoping for more :D To answer you (a couple chapters ago) I stumbled upon this, and I liked the comment you made in the summary. So I gave it a shot. Greatest idea of my life. Author's Response: Actually, I like Jessica a lot. I just think she's got a lot to offer in the comedic relief department, and I figured someone had to show Embry a hard time ;)

Oh! And to answer you (again) -I personally think Edward is a prick. He is also an idiot. A controlling idiot prick. I don't really like him. SO, if you screwed him over the second story, I wouldn't be upset in the least. I always thought Bella should have put up a bit more of a fight when he glided back into her world. Kinda dumb if you ask me.
Summary:
 What if the wolf pack hadn't interrupted Laurent before he bit Bella? This is the story of Bella being changed despite Edward leaving her to prevent it from happening.
Rated for later chapters. Just like in New Moon, Edward will make an appearance eventually!

Title: Chapter 6: Chapter 6: Reunions
I apologize for not reviewing yet...but, I just want to say, I find it so interesting that everyone outside of Stephanie Meyer seems to think this reaction would be the reaction Bella SHOULD have had when she woke up. I haven't read the book in a few months, but I remember correctly, she almost immediately recognized everyone around her. I've read numerous stories about Bella changing, and I believe only two (?) had her recognizing everyone without effort. I find that strange :)
...good story. It's a compliment that I haven't reviewed yet, cause its hard to "find the time" to take myself away :)

Title: Chapter 15: Chapter 15: The Calm Before the Storm
In response to your thoughts on the future-telling dreams...I was a little shocked at that myself. I thought for sure that her powers as a vampire would have SOMETHING to do with being able to tell the future - not because she could "see" it before it happened (like Alice) but because she is so gosh darn intuitive that she'll just KNOW whats about it happen.
It seems Meyer gave Bella all sorts of "gifts" that, in the end, were rather pointless to go into such detail about. I was a little saddened by this.
Summary: Edward is a lonely vampire who has been waiting for over eighty years to find his soul mate. His sister Alice has never been able to see his true love, but for good reason--she hadn't been born yet. When Alice finally sees her, plans are made to finally make Edward's dream come true.
This is a different version of Twilight, and it's told from Edward's point of view.
A little lemony, but not too graphic. Rated NC-17 for mature themes and language, and possibly for violence in later chapters.

I am definitely enjoying this story...but I will say that I've had to force myself to pretend I don't "know" any of the characters, because the Cullens are completely different from who they are in the book. I'm not sure if I like it better or not.
Regardless, I'm hooked on the story-line :)

Title: Chapter 13: Chapter 13: Bella's Party
Well...I'm glad SOMEBODY decided Bella should have a normal reaction to the van scene...cause, geesh, Bella's reaction in every other story (inlcuding the real one obviously) is just a little too accepting.
Summary: This is a series of missing moments from Breaking Dawn, starting with the wedding night at Isle Esme.
Will include Edward's POV when Bella realizes she's pregnant, and many other scenes that we missed during 'Book 2' - Jacob's perspective. Most chapters will be Edward POV, but some will be Bella POV as well.

Title: Chapter 5: Homecoming
I haven't read this chapter yet, but I wanted to respond to your A/N before I forgot - I think, the reason Edward assumed Bella would hate the "thing" growing inside her is because he hates HIMSELF. He never came to terms with the fact that Bella truly loves him (at least he never seemed to in the book), so obviously, he will think Bella wouldn't want something from him growing inside her.
It's difficult for a person to think outside of their own box. SM actually was VERY realistic in that psychological sense about Edward's feelings toward the baby. I was impressed with her insight with this, since really, her insight into a lot of other things seemed rather unrealistic (I am not talking about human/vampire relationship, cause, although unrealistic, its what the story is ABOUT, so I can't really knock that)

Title: Chapter 3: A Brave New World
I read this because you are so amazing at Breathe Again...and, I'm not disappointed. I will say, however, that it took me hours to read that second chapter. Because it hit so close to home. I was amazed...it was like you were witing my thoughts out. I don't know if you've ever been in an abusive relationship but, just so you know, you describe the feelings with complete accuracy.
It's been 6 years for me, and I still have moments that take me back to either the wronderful aspects of the relationship, or the nightmare. Either way, the indicators are there...

She treats her best friend, Jake, like a beloved pair of old jeans. Jake is not happy with this situation. When he takes matters into his own hands, Bella's resulting epiphany makes her realize she needs to learn how to seduce a werewolf.

You know why? Because I thought it said: Does my half naked brother bother you? Don't as me why...cause I can't answer you.

Title: Chapter 8: Chapter 8 To Ride a Wild Wolf
I'm gonna be completely honest here...I didn't like this chapter. It seems forced. The dialog isn't whitty, its actually kinda...lame? The characters just dont seem right. It's like you edited it so much that the end result was too far the original idea.
To be fair, I went and read it from start to "finish" and, its still different...not as good.
I still love the story, please dont think I don't. I am just giving some constructive critism :)
Author's Response: Hey Nicole! Thanks so much for reviewing and giving me your honest opinion. I completely agree. This chapter is pretty shitty. I reread Chapters 1 and 2 and they suck equally as badly. I think you're right about the dialogue in this chapter. Guess I just wasn't feeling it. Usually my narrative stinks and my dialogue is pretty good, (reread chapters 1 and 2 for examples of crap narrative) but this dialogue is lame. Sorry about that. All 3 chapters need to be rewritten. Anyone want to beta them and improve them radically? I'd certainly be willing to send out and advance copy of a future chapter to anyone wanting to work on these chapters. *flutters eyelashes and smiles sweetly* Oh, btw, if you think Chapter 8 sucks now, you should have read them before I rewrote it 684 times. Believe it or not, it was much worse before. :)
