Very nice... makes me want to wake my hubby up and have us an early anniversary celebration too *lol* Author's Response: LOL!! i'm glad you liked it. that was the first FF i ever posted. it got me back into writing after an 8-year hiatus. :)
Summary: Set in the summer after Twilight, 2 weeks before the beginning of senior year, Bella wakes up one Saturday morning to find a sleeping, HUMAN Edward beside her.
"It was late August and we were going back to school in two weeks, so every single day had become invaluable to me. To be treasured, remembered forever, saved for a time I must leave to allow her to pick up her life as if I had never disturbed it.
But what about now? If I am truly human, that is no longer the case. I can give Bella everything she ever wants, everything she deserves. A real life, a husband... children? I have no need to leave her. I can stay and love her forever... If she’ll have me."

I have to say that I was shocked that Edward was repsonsible for introducing Jake and Charlotte, and I couldn't believe that Jake hadn't told them that he had a girlfriend. That's pretty dodgy! You are killing me with the suspense here... just waiting for them to get their act together.
I could have punched Jake myself for what he did. Manipulative, arrogant prick! *lol* Can you tell I'm already getting a little emotionally involved?
I have to say that the way you write the characters just brings them to life, feeling less than just 2 dimensional. Beautifully done. Can't wait for more. Author's Response: Thanks bb!! It's definitely going to be slow-going. Bella's reluctant to believe that Edward just may have feelings for her... I'm thinking about doing an EPOV outtake of either the first chapter or the Halloween scene...not sure yet.
