Summary:
When Bella and Edward meet the first day of High School, he is a chubby misfit with no friends in a new town, aside from his popular cousins. Now you've done it. Tears running down my face. This is harder to handle than Not Like This, I think. But it was difficult the handle too.....
Author's Response: Not Like This deals with one, albeit huge, trauma while this story deals with more of a lifetime of smaller traumas. Just a bit of a different story. A lot happened to make them both this way....

Six hours later, I was standing out in front of the Lodge, waiting for our ride to show up as Carlisle danced in the road, belting out a scary rendition of “Get Low” by Lil’ John..... Chief Swan jumped around with my uncle when he hit the chorus, the two of them singing, “To the window, to the wall, to the sweat drop down my balls,” in a high pitched voice.
C & C DRUNK and singing & dancing in the street?? That is PRICELESS!! NEVER have seen that in any other FF!

Good chapter! Bella is looking like the strong one now. Edward is really messed up at the moment.
Are you ready for ECLIPSE????? I am so eager for that movie, I can barely stand it! I have seen a lot of pictures and clips, and it looks like it will be totally amazing! I wish I could buy the DVD the day after I see it! I bought my on-line ticket Saturday!!!! I will see it at 10:00 am on Wed! I found it playing at an IMAX theater about 15 miles from me. I will see it there too! That will be a great experience! ENJOY!

No, I never intended for it to be a romance. In my private imagination, it's an Edward/Bella romance, but with Emmett having a much more up-front role in it all. He will always be, to me, her big brother.
Though I do try to read Emmett/Bella fics. I do try. I just always feel a little like I'm watching an incestuous relationship. Ew. TMI. Sorry.
