Summary:  Seven years have passed since Edward and Bella last saw each other. They grew up as children and even became good friends. Once they entered high school, Edward became distant and eventually severed all ties with her. Confused and hurt, Bella moved on with her life in Seattle.Through it all, Bella had her older brother Emmett to get past the estrangement. This chapter was pretty rough. I liked how everything wasn't painted with roses. He was busy and she was feeling miserable. I thought it was funny how he expected her to jump in his arms when she saw him, but of course that wouldn't be like her. Especially with all the emotions she's been going through. They really need to work out their shit, so to speak.
Summary: Bella is a witness in peril. Emmett Cullen is the deputy assigned to protect her. When the witness protection program proves unsafe, Emmett has Bella pose as his brother Edward's fiancée. ExB. AU/AH.

I love how real you make Bella and Edward's relationship seem in your fic. There's tense moments, boy-girl misunderstandings, hesitations. Very realistic. Other stories make Edward seem like he's this perfect guy that understands every woman's needs, so it's a great breather to read yours.

Title: Chapter 16: Chapter 16 - Thanksgiving
Edward seems to be a bit .. calm about her bulemia. I mean, I know his sister is anorexic, but he was very insensitive about some of the things he joked about with her. Like joking that she was fat and ugly. Bulemics take that stuff really seriously. She'll probably go throw up right when she gets out of the car with Edward.
Also, even though cheating is bad and it's easy to say that she shouldn't cheat or she should break up with Jake, in most cases what she's doing is normal. Some people get into cheating and even though there's guilt, they still do it blindly not even thinking of the repercussions until it happens. But even though Bella is being selfish, Edward is fully taking advantage of that.
I'm not too happy with him!

Title: Chapter 15: Chapter 15 - The Game
I really enjoy your story.
I can say that I can sympathize with Bella in a way, but that's only based on personal experience while being in a relationship. She is clearly tempted by Edward, who she has a strong connection too. She doesn't understand why she likes him so much and why she can't control herself.
Edward, on the other hand, is very wicked! Haha. He should NOT be hitting on her and groping her when she's in a relationship. What's to say that if Bella did drop Jake for him, that he wouldn't run off and cheat on her with someone else, since he seems to be so open to the idea.
I'm not sure how you're setting Edward up, as he's still sort of a mystery. I really wish there could be an EPOV of his. Maybe you could consider doing an EPOV of Gates as a 2nd story after you're doing with this. That'd be interesting. Author's Response: Thank you so much for your long and thoughtful review. I've never written anything before this, so I'm not sure that I can write EPOV - but I maybe I'll try and write one as an outtake. But not till this is done - I don't think I want to give any insight into Edward's mind that Bella doesn't have yet. Keeps the suspense stronger for the reader, I think.
ps - I love reading EPOV. Maybe better than BPOV. He's usually more complicated then she is. But my Bella's pretty complex - this Edward might be simpler than this Bella. His thoughts might just be sports . . . girls . . . beer . . . repeat. Kidding.

I've decided that Edward is a little punk. He can be so immature sometimes with his crazy angry outbursts. We still love him though.
For some reason, I died laughing when Jake said, "Samesies". It was just so unexpected. Hilarious.

This is a great start. I liked how you gave us both POV's of the crash. I'm really looking forward to this continuing, so I went ahead and favorited you.
I know what you mean about pussy and cock... those words are scary to write, I know I'm having that issue in the story I'm writing, though I can definitely respect someone that has the balls to write it and it not ruin the story.
As for suggestions, I don't know if I have specific scenarios, but maybe a general one of some sort of argument between them causing them to act cold towards each other or go their separate ways for a bit.
