I love how the story is progressing. I'm anxious to find out who held him captive for 90 years and how things unfold for him and Bella. This was an amazing chapter, Michelle. Things are finally starting to come out regarding what happened to Edward. As far as being too graphic, I don't think so. I think you did the complete back story justice. We knew it was going to be graphic, considering the nature of Edward's stability and how vulnerable he is. This chapter was definitely worth the hiatus.

Summary: Bella left Forks and her four best friends, Emmett McCarty, Alice Brandon, Rosalie Hale, and Edward Cullen behind at the end of their eighth grade year to move in with her mother, Renee, and her new stepfather. Edward takes Bella to the carnival for the first time in her life. They play games and he wins her a teddy bear. Bella thinks it would be fun to go see a gypsy palm reader; Edward thinks it’s not such a good idea because of Alice . Bella drags him to the tent and they are greeted by Lady Zafrina. Edward excuses himself and goes outside. Bella apologizes to the gypsy and says they will be right back. Once outside, Edward yells at Bella. The gypsy hears everything and invites them in, promising nothing bad will happen. Frustrated Edward goes in and sits down. The gypsy has a plan that will help these two “walk in each others shoes” to understand one another more then they will ever know. Some OOC after the switch.
