Why not just fess up? That's what I don't get- "I was more upset about my comforter than the boyfriend loss?" Heck she was thinking that before the walk.. Author's Response: I'm trying to keep these characters as true to character as possible, and one thing I've found about our two lovebirds is that they're often not the most logical of creatures. Don't worry though, Bella will tell (and show) Edward that Mike was just a convenience soon enough. She just needs a moment of irrationality before she grabs the bull by the horns.

I was planning on nagging you in the review- about how their 1st time would NEVER be on a plane, blah blah... and then to see it was a dream!! GOOD one!!!
Author's Response: Haha, the characters will be a bit OOC, it's unavoidable in a story like this. But, it's actually such a depressing part of the book that the only way I felt I could pull it off was to go the dream route. I'm so happy you liked it! *MWAH!*

Many have tried to finish Stephenie Meyer's "Midnight Sun" (Twilight from Edward's point of view) and from what I've seen, none of them truly finished what she started. This ending to "Midnight Sun" starting at Chapter 13 is not only picking up where she left off, but uncovering the Edward that she created, and blending the perspectives of many to hear the rest of his story. This first book is a unique turning point in the arc of his character.

i really enjoyed the chapter- his pov- except- to be truthful- at times- like during the kiss- his feelings/descriptions of it- seemed cold or emotionless. or least to me.
sorry. otherwise- i liked the rest of it. Author's Response: In what way did you think they were cold? It's hard for me to make something better if I don't understand... or perhaps if I had an example of him showing more emotion in a situation like that? It is more detailed than those same places in Twilight from Bella's point of view because he notices more, so there's more detail than that, but I also felt a little weird writing those parts and perhaps they aren't done enough. I've read some EPOV that were much more intense and steamy, but then there's always the balance of where he is at this moment in time. Hmm... an example would be great though if you have one for me to look at? He'll be kissing her again in a few chapters so it would be nice to work on before I post that chapter.
Anyway, thanks for the review! I really do listen to people when they have ideas of how to make it better. :]
