Summary:
Bella Swan spent the first two years of her life in Forks developing a friendship with Jacob Black that finally turned into something more. As she begins her senior year of high school, a new family moves to town and Bella slowly begins to question the path she thought her life would follow. Sometimes there is a difference between what you think you need and what you never knew you wanted. Takes place during the timeframe of New Moon and Eclipse. J/B at first, but eventually E/B.

Title: Chapter 31: Relentless
I know I'm late to this party, but I have to say, this is the Twilight that SHOULD have been written. I am as diehard a fan as the next Twi-lover, but this? This is sodding brilliant. This chapter, while I've loved each of them, is just absolutely & completely BRILLIANT (I wish I had a better word...). The descriptors, the flow, the angst - all of it. The best part? Edward didn't just look at Bella & have her fall right into his arms "no harm/no foul." She was bitter & angry & defiant. As well she should have been.
Forgive me for not reviewing each & every chapter as I would like to, but know that I'm absolutely in love with your story and your writing.

Title: Chapter 35: Kissed
Wherever life has you right now, I hope you are doing well. I have spent the last couple of days reading this story and falling in love with your writing. I typically stick with AH/AU fics, but I'd heard so many good things about this one, I decided to give it a try. Now that I'm caught up, I will reiterate my earlier review: this is the Twilight that SHOULD have been written.
Whenever you can, whenever real life allows, I do hope you'll post more. This is simply exquisite...thank you for writing it.

Bella takes a vacation to Hilton Head Island in South Carolina to meet Alice's new boyfriend, Jasper. Rosalie and Emmett come along, too, just in case Bella didn't feel like enough of a fifth wheel. With Jasper's roommate out of town, Bella has his nice big bed all to herself. Until Edward comes home in the middle of the night...

Summary:  Edward is a 27-year-old alcoholic/addict struggling with his recovery. Bella is a 23-year-old who's moved back home after college. This fic chronicles how they meet, fall in love, and struggle with the complexities of their relationship. Not nearly as maudlin as it sounds (I hope).
Rated NC-17 for graphic (and sometimes non-romantic) sex, drug and alcohol use and abuse, profane language, and brief (very brief) suicidal ideation (although NO suicide attempts). No sexual assault, no cutting.
