I am so sorry to hear about your loss, my thoughts are with you.
I'm interested to see how the story turns out. I feel like I should know who she's going to choose, but at this point I think it could still go either way. I'm definitely an Edward girl, so I always want to see Bella with him, but in this story?...I don't know. I think Bella was being overdramatic with the whole Jasper going to see Maria thing, but I guess this is high school, right? haha

ahhh! LOVE IT!!! This is my first Kristen/Rob story and I thought it was fantastic! I loved all the connections to real life...Adventurland, Little Ashes, Micheal (Mr. Sky High), Shark Boy... I'm clearly not the same level of fan as others on the site, so I enjoyed googling things and checking out IMDB to make all the connections. So glad you kept writing and didn't stop after 3 or 4 chapters!!! Can't wait for the next update!!!

Title: Chapter 24: Chapter 24: Countdown to a Change
Wow, so I definitely just spent the past day and a half reading up to this point instead of working on my thesis. Awesome story! I don't normally go for stories that are quite so NC17, but there is enough depth to the story that it isn't just about the sex. I really enjoyed Bella's (I think?) realization about what marriage is, but I think her sexual confidence came about a little quickly...(or maybe I'm just putting myself into Bella's shoes a bit too much!). Sometimes it seems like Edward is a little too much of a pansy (like when he was supposed to be the one dominating on their weekend away), but I guess that's just Edward. Anyway, I LOVED the story and can't wait for an update!!!

Title: Chapter 14: Fathers and Brothers
This story is simply beautiful! I really appreciate how your version of New Moon includes Carisle instead of just being about Edward. The introspection and examination of the relationship between to two of them is great. I like that you gave Esme a little more spunk...she was definitely one of the more overlooked characters in the books. Can't wait for the update!!! Author's Response: Thank you! wasn't exactly thrilled with how bella lost her virginity and then continued having sex with edward even though she thought he wasn't interested, but to each their own. i loved the writing/blogging thing and seriously squealed out loud at the WWD88D part...didn't see it coming!!!

*Takes place during New Moon in an alternate universe.
On March 16, 2006, the World changed, and everything and anything that the Cullens ever cared about was lost. They had to find their own way in this New World. Edward never wished to exist in a world where Bella didn't. Unfortunately, his family desperately needed him, so he'd stay to help them. And by doing so, he hoped to redeem himself for his failure to save the one creature he couldn't protect.
With rumours in the South of humans feeding off the living and stealing people from their beds, the Cullens have a responsibility to protect the ones they can from those monsters in the night. This was Edward's last chance to fight for his soul and his salvation. He would finally be ready to face Judgement day and be deemed worthy enough to be with Bella once again. Or would something or someone change the path he was destined to go down? Faith, hope and love are powerful things, and Edward is about to find out just how powerful they are.
Yes... this is the story that is set during a post-apocalyptic nuclear war. Just try the Prologue to get a feel for it before passing judgment. You might be surprised. Warning: There is violence and disturbing images the further the story goes along.

Oh man! WhIat a crushing ending to the chapter!!!! I just read the story up until this point, and I must say that I LOVE it!!! I was a little apprehensive at first and skeptical through the first chapter, but I'm so glad that I continued reading!!! Not my typical brand of FF, but a delightful change (assuming one could use the word "delightful" in reference to this story). Nothing wrong with a dark FF every once and a while! This was a great place to stop part one, and I'm excited for part two. I'm assuming we'll be hearing Bella's past??
I don't know how you came up with the idea for the story, but I think it's fantastic. Kind of sci-fi but with tons of emotion. For whatever reason it kind of reminds me of the show Firefly, especially the ravagers. (When I read ravagers I think reefers.)
Good luck with the writing, I totally understand the need to have chapters stockpiled! I'm so sorry to hear about your dog - thank you for getting the chapter out anyway.

Hahaha, it's funny you mntioned Charlie's house in your AN, because I was totally going to ask about it!!! Author's Response: my beta mentioned it to me when she read it and I knew it was going to come up. personally, I thought that it would be too difficult for Bella to live there, with the memories and all. But I've known I was going to have that chapter where she goes back since I began writing this. The song that goes along with it was my driving force.

Title: Chapter 8: School Reunion
Love this story! Such an interesting idea! I can't believe this was only chapter 8, I feel like so much has already happened/been developed/I've been following it for a while. I hope Corrin accepts the Cullens, although him not accepting them would give the story plenty of plot/drama.
I'm a little confused as to why Bella and Corrin wanted to have the Cullens over for dinner even though the Cullens don't eat. In your previous chapter when Bella was on the phone with Edward, she seemed to suddently remember something, and I assumed that that was the fact that the Cullens don't eat, but it still seems like Bella should have figured it out earlier. Are Bella and Corrin just trying to make them sufer a bit/see what the Cullens will do? Are they trying to keep up the image that they don't know the Cullens are vampires by inviting them to a meal? I can't help but not buy that Bella/Corrin simply forgot about the Cullens vampire ways.
Please don't think I'm being too critical...just thinking out loud!

Don't worry about being critical, I love hearing thoughts and clearing up confusion. Reason for dinner: a place and time for Corrin and Sophia to get to know the Cullens. Another reason: to see them squirm a bit. Bella had a realization on the phone that Alice-being a fortuneteller-knew about the hailstorm, and forced a sleepover to occur, against Bella's wishes. So, this thing is a little bit of payback. It gets cleared up a little more in the next chapter though.

I know this is fan fiction and all and it's supposed to be drama-filled...but maybe this is a bit much? Edward's outburst seemed really unreasonable and Bella's running away is just ridiculous. But I guess Edward and Bella have always been a bit melodramatic... Author's Response: They are melodramatic and still teens. Please stay with us to see their character growth.
