I am amazed that some people would think like that!! Isn't that enough?? I know from personal experience how it is to have feelings that aren't two sided and unfortuntally for me unlike Bella I did sleep with that person and got pregnant. I love my son to death but this man treats him just like he did me and has never seen him because we weren't enough for him... I am glad that if he is going to act this way around my son that he isn't around because that would just hurt more and I have discovered that I am better than him and that I am worth something!

I really hope that Bella doesn't start second guessing herself that much because she did this because she finally allowed her to do something that she wanted to do. Alice is in for the surprise of her life when she gets back because Bella has changed alot since she has been gone.
Summary: Edward was diagnosed with Cystic Fibrosis when he was six years old. Now, at twenty-two, he's trying to be a normal college student. The only thing is, he had to agree to share an apartment with his sister, Alice, who helps take care of him. When Alice gets accepted into a fashion school three hours away, they have to rely on a family friend, Bella, to live with Edward. Totally against having any help from anyone, Edward has to learn that you can't get through life alone.
***This story is not a happy-go-lucky love story. It is a drama and involves the issue of the illness CF. If anyone is sensitive to this subject, I suggest you don't read on.

While it is sad that Edward feels this way it is part of being sick and knowing that there is nothing that anyone can do but make things easier and the end result is going to be the same. It is terrible that Edward has to live with this but it is good that he has people around him that care enough to help make his life easier on him. Author's Response: Exactly. He knows the inevitable, but he does have a lot of support from family... maybe a little too much support, but support nonetheless...

It is a good thing that Edward is pushing Alice to go to that school because she can't just not go because Edward is sick because then she might resent him later because she didn't go.
