Hello, I'm a 34 English Teacher / Psychologist. Married, no children however two extreamly spoiled and adored goldenretrievers. Moka and Maya are my babies, both girls around 8 human years both of them.

I live in the city of Puebla in Mexico. It is a colonial city near the volcanoes. I give English lessons to children and adults.

I love reading since I was a little girl I read almost anything within my reach. I enjoy reading historic novels and biographies but adore a good novel and mystery. I would love to write, but I'm not good yet. I begin something and then have no idea how to finish it. So I have tons of little stories and things that go through my head in the computer and notebooks. I hope to one day make something out of all of it.

I got hooked in Fan Fiction thanks to the Twilight series which I loved. I enjoy reviewing stories and try to think my reviews and make them nice.

About my Favorite things.- Reading of course, both in English and Spanish. Favorite Authors, in Spanish, Gabriel García Marquez, Angeles Mastretta, Paulo Cohelo. In English, in no particular order Stephenie Meyer, J.K. Rowling, Michel Crichton, Agatha Christie. These are the ones I can think of now.

I also love cooking and I'm good at it, at least that's what family and friends tell me.

I also enjoy sewing, needle point, cross stich and such.

That's it for now I think. I hope that the authors whose stories I review enjoy them I try to make them good. Since I don't feel I can write a story yet at least I can try and write good reviews.

The TA by wuogkat Rated: PG-13 starstarstarstarstar [Reviews - 322]
Summary:

The three black and white photographs that hang on Bell's apartment wall. The lights from a police cruiser, a flower, and a man cliff diving. These represent the three men she loves.

Bella Swan has spent the past four years excelling at school as a way to insulate herself from her past.  She finished her bachelor's degree early and is about to start her first semmester as a TA in the literature department of a small heavily wooded school in the northeast when her past finds her.  Bella finds herself thrust back into the world of vampires and werewolves and she has to decide which path her life will take, if she can survive that long.

He not only followed her, but he went into her office and kissed her? What did he expect? Everything to be as it was back then? He still can't listen to her thoughts, so he had to go with his instinct and of course, with what Alice might have seen. She is still sneaky and ran off as fast as possible.

Was Emmett looking for Bella or was it just a coincidence they met that way. He did say they all miss her and that she shouldn't shot them out. Can she do that?

Author's Response:

;-)

Edward has some impulse control issues where Bella is concerned.  He'll explain a bit later in the story but from the moment he sees her, he wants to go to her and Alice is holding him back.  When she leaned down, he just kind of snapped.  In doing that, Edward messed up Alice's vision.

As for Emmett... Alice told him where to find her.

Thank you!

Wow!!!! Talk about timing. In less than 48 hours all of them got to be at the same place. And of course, there was no way any side could have imagined it. Bella needed some peace and tranquility and it seems she won't be getting it any time soon.

She is in the middle of it and as much as she wants to remain as Switzerland, Switzerland from time to time has to get involved. I wonder who will be the calm one in each group?

Author's Response:

When it rains, it pours.  It seems that Miss Bella is either isolated or inundated with guests.  No middle ground.

Switzerland is in for a couple of interesting days.  ;-)

Edward is going to make sure everyone realizes his intentions, even if Bella gets upset with him by doing it. She knows he is going to, and is having a difficult time, dealing with the feeling of being taken care of and being on her own. She likes both a lot and it isn't easy to find balance. And yes, the fact that her involvement is judged by a double standard doesn't help. Add to it, women oggling Edward, and men looking at her; Jasper is going to have a lot of work balancing emotions around campus.

When will Bella see Quil, Rachel and Brady?

Author's Response:

Edward's gone territorial again and Bella is grown up enough to recognize it.  ;-)

Patience grasshopper, Quil was pretty mad.

Things are changing drastically. They have been changing in Bella's life for the past three years, the Cullens just didn't know it. They can't change and it seems a part of them assumed Bella wouldn't change, not as much as she has. I'm not talking about the scars and wounds but of her likes and preferences. She has become an adrenaline junkie in a way. She loves the dare and the risk, she needed them to feel Edward, but now? Why does she still need them? Is there something in it that she loves, besides Edward's memory.

I knew Jasper had to take a big part in this story soon, I didn't imagine it would be with the newborns issue. He needs to do this, to help Bella any way he can, for his own peace of mind.

Bella is going cliffdiving on Saturday, who will be following her? I don't think Edward will let her go completely alone, but he won't go, perhaps Alice?

Author's Response:

Oh the irony...

I'm smiling at your comment about change, and you're going to understand why relatively soon.  I need some popcorn.

As for the cliff diving and the motorcycle, there is a deep psychological need to keep some part of Jake with her.  She also craves an escape from the intensity.  A relationship like the one that she has with Edward can be very heavy and consuming.  Sometimes she feels the need to just break free and feel something else, but loving that much is a very powerful emotion and it takes a lot to break free from it.  She also does this stuff to break free from the massive amount of guilt that she's carrying.  There are a couple of important details that Bella left out of her story.  Psychologically, the girl is a wreck.  Quite frankly, she's only a step above cutting as far as self destructive behavior is concerned.

Thank you!

Bella needs a brake!!! It has to be so exhausting to be between both sides. Neither, I'm sure, is making things easy for her. She might laugh at the nose wrinkling but what stands behind it has to hurt her.

And sadly neither side can be blamed, both want to keep her safe, to protect and love her, even if she refuses to accept their attention. So compromises should be reached, sadly no one is being civl here.

And Bella being her, got a bit distracted and hurt herself. Edward was going to be close, with Emmett and Jasper. Why is Bella fainting? The blood loss? Her thinness? Or the memories? Or a combination of all?

Author's Response:

You may have missed it, she hit her head on a rock as she went down, that in combination with her usual difficulty being around blood caused her to pass out.

Bella never gets a brake.  The time in between ch 9 and 10 are as close to a brake as she gets.  Unfortunately, that time frame isn't included in the story.  All in all she's actually had a good time between Wednesday and Friday.

Thank you!

This is certainly and unexpected twist. Bella is alone with another group of vampires, we have no idea where. She is still wounded and not feeling physically well, at least she can still hear Edward and from what she heard, he and the wolves are still alive but couldn't protect her.

I imagine that argument has to be more than heated, lets hope both groups focus and get to work on once again saving Bella. No wonder she wants to run away and disappear!!!

Author's Response:

Yes, it's cruel, I know.

I'm a mean mean fanfic writer.  Poor Bella.

Thank you.

What are the vampire's intentions? is it really just feeding from Bella? MArk seems to have other ideas, but doesn't think he might convince the others. He is intrigued with Bella's situation and trying to understand it, not an easy task.

He did say something I find very important, Edward is stronger than him. Bella should hold on to that.

Author's Response:

We'll get to that. ;-)

Mark is actually sizing her up and looking for weaknesses.  This is a group of highly gifted vampires and Bella is a puzzle.  They're toying with her but they have reasons behind what they're doing.

Thank you!

Plenty of information in this chapter. Some, if not all of the vampires in this group are old acquaintances of Jasper. They know of his skills. Adriana seems to have the ability to control people's actions, and the others have to be able to do something that doesn't work with Bella. That has to be part of the reason she is so valuable for them.

Jasper is playing double agent. Alice can't see the wolves, but she can see other vampires, so she had to know they would be coming, but not their running into Bella since she was with the wolves.

It also seems they still don't know about Edward's ability, do they know about Alice's?

As for Jasper's teeth not hurting Bella, they wouldn't have let him and he couldn't have.

Author's Response:

Dead on - you've got that figured out.

Sooooo... Alice and the bad vamps ... She saw them but they weren't a threat to the family or to Bella initially.  They were also set to pass more than 80 miles away from the Cullen's home.  However, cliff diving threw a kink into that.  Bella's plans put her very close to them, from there is didn't take much to change the future.  Alice wasn't looking for it and didn't see the change until too late.

The bad vamps know that there's something up with Edward but they haven't figured it out yet and they have very limited knowledge of Alice.

As for Jasper and the almost bite... he was plaaying a very dangerous yet necessary game of chicken.

Thank you!

Will Bella finally believe she is worth it? That it isn't her fault? Is Jasper that good? I think he is, but it's Bella who needs to believe it now, not me.

Jasper loves Bella and would never do anything to harm her, he is risking himself a lot, by being there with her to rescue her. Alice loves her a lot to for having Jasper go in there alone. And they have to have a wicked plan set in too.

Bella isn't done with her session with Jasper, and it seems it's going to get even more intense. There's still time and plenty to talk about.

Author's Response:

And now you're caught up ... ;-)

I can't answer most of that without spoilers.  But I will say that finally forgiving herself will take time and life does go on in the meantime.

This story doesn't end with The TA.

Bella learned a lot of Jasper and vampires. How they plan and get things done. Their methods aren't nice, kind or humane, but they do make them get the control they want.

fooling them, won't be easy, but it is possible. With Jasper's help and her determination, there's a really good chance.

Author's Response:

Thank you for reviewing.  The rest of the Cullens are also ready.  Which is good because Edward is going to flip if he doesn't see Bella soon.

Summary: Feature

Edward is a 27-year-old alcoholic/addict struggling with his recovery. Bella is a 23-year-old who's moved back home after college. This fic chronicles how they meet, fall in love, and struggle with the complexities of their relationship. Not nearly as maudlin as it sounds (I hope).

Rated NC-17 for graphic (and sometimes non-romantic) sex, drug and alcohol use and abuse, profane language, and brief (very brief) suicidal ideation (although NO suicide attempts). No sexual assault, no cutting.

This story was highly recommended. But I was told not to read the summary, and I didn't I got straight into the chapter, with no clue as to what I was going to find.

I found a man whom to the world has everything, money, looks, popularity, drugs, liquor, women, friends. A guy who is a host to sought out parties and who everyone wants to hang around with. He has all everyone wants, but he is cold, inside and out.

It's never enough, never entirely satisfying, something is always missing, and he is unable to grip it.

He goes through life with the motions expected of him, the motions he knows now how to do without much thought. And he is "fine" it goes fine.

It said it will all spiral down until rock bottom is found, and it's never the same for two individuals.

Has he found his? Did a corsage and the naiveness of an 18 year old be what he needed to snap out of his haze and try to do something about the coldness in his life? It seems that way.

The determination he showed giving all away, selling all, settling things speaks volumes, even if he is inhaling meanwhile.

Where is he off to now? I want to find out, I really do.

A change, a big one, from coast to coast. Leaving behind, friends, school, experiences. Starting fresh in an old familiar place. It has to have its charm. She says she likes moving and not staying in the same place, but she hasn't been to too many places. Is her body or her mind the restless one?

She wants to figure out things it seems, but those things aren't clear yet.

Her life is fine, she has a job she seems to enjoy, has made friends, found a place to live and people to spend time with. But is this it? All of it?

What's missing? I do want to find out.

Bella is constantly taking notice of the lack of noise, the silence. She hasn't stated that she misses the cars and buses and people, just that the silence catches her attention constantly. As if she were surprised it hasn't driven her crazy yet.

Her life has fallen into a pleasantly nice routine. She likes her work, her co-workers, the chores, the ins and outs of the bookstore. Especially she likes Thursday and Sunday afternoons when a guy who would probably fit better back in Boston than in Port Angeles makes his appearance in the bookstore. Just as she has, he as a routine to which he sticks. He talks as little as possible and just the needed words for his purchase. He has put a spell on her. She is aware of it, and seems helpless to stop it. So she decided to take a chance and start a conversation, sadly it only was her rambling trying very hard to get an answer from him. Nothing, she should be upset, he came across a bit rude. She is as intrigued as before.

Seth is... a good buddy, a nice guy, someone to pass the time with. Too old for his young age. He sees far deeper than I am sure people give him credit. He realized Bella and him are just sharing time for a while. He isn't upset, he gets it, and wants to enjoy it while it lasts.

Bella is moving to Seattle in August, how will her life change there? Will she miss the silence?

There is a reason for a routine and process, to get control back you need to rely and count on things to be stable to follow order. For a while all that dEwar could do was keep taps of his routine. The do’s and don’ts of this new phase in his life. All around him became irrelevant and impossible to see, to look, to realize. Until the moment when the fog cleared, when what looked dark became brighter. When he was finally able to look at life and what’s around him.

He might have not noticed what was around him. But some of his surroundings did notice him. Bella had her routine too, and when she tried to step out of it, she was ignored and had no idea why. If only she knew.

for the first time he spoke to her, he answered as best as he could, which wasn’t really good but still, he did, and it changed things for both of them.

Awareness is finally coming to Edward and it’s a risky step in the process, one that needs to be handled carefully, and needs lots of effort and will.

He has gotten out of the fog back into light, it’s a whole new world. A world with an intriguing girl in a bookstore.

I hope he doesn't go back to "that guy" now. That he trusts himself to truly be able to move on in life.

Some of Bella's questions could be answered now, perhaps, if not for her for us.

Jasper went to say hi, why? He has been there, he knows how the situation can be uncomfortable. It at least gave him the chance to open up to Bella. She  knew about the accident but not of the rest.

Bella isn't a big Jane Austen fan, that was different.

It can't always be easy to make sense and find meaning to life. Edward isn't sure if he is at the point in this life where he should. The program states things should be taken one step at a time, and he has been doing just fine until now.

But he lacks interaction with others, is it right? Should he get close to people? Maybe, Jasper and him concur. Not it would just be needed to give it a try.

Sweet is the word that comes to mind about this chapter. How anxious and nervous they both acted. Walking on eggshells, like teenagers on a first date. It wasn't a date, but it went quite well, Tense at first but they eventually relaxed and were able to talk normally without too much worry of saying the right or the wrong thing.

There are things that were easier than others, of course. They enjoyed it and are set for the movies on Saturday. Can't wait!!!!

WAs it a date or not? It might seem perhaps, but Edward "shouldn't" at least not yet. And that can't be easy on him or Bella in this case.

It has to have taken a lot of courage to open up as he did, was it a lot? or too little? I would say it was enough for one evening. And such an evening. There are things they agree on and things in which they are completely opposite, but that could be worked out, at least as friends.

Can they handle that for now? Hopefully they can. I think it will be worth it.

It wasn’t a date, what was it then? Two people getting to know each other? Two friends going out? Hanging out? What ever it was, it’s probably better not to put a label on it yet. At least for… a while. It’s clear they will keep on, what ever it might be.

They have a good time, enjoy the company and talk, so why worry before it’s necessary to.

Of course, the people around Bella will have, as she said concern for it. But they will trust her, they should trust her.

This, however, causes tension, tension Bella needed to take care of somewhere else. Seth, he is smart and figured something was going on with Bella. He cares for her and doesn’t want to make things uncomfortable for either. Lets hope they manage.

Realization of the differences between the stories of the members in the group has to be interesting. Edward sees how others came to be at the same place he is and every story is unique. Jasper has had to see this a bit more and he knows and wants to help. However he thinks he needs to leave the group, I don't agree with him. Opening up is a hard process and the group seems to be doing just so recently. To have a new face there might slow the process a bit.

Bella and Edward both enjoy their company and time together. They are aware it's almost all they can share for now and they seem to be for now, at least, okay with it. They need the time to get to know each other better and they are working on it.

The plans changed and they dealt with them rather well. Lets see how the rest of the week-end goes.

Things don't go as planned, they didn't from the start. Bella simply left Port Angeles with what she had on her at the time. So part of her plans for the week-end didn't make it to Forks. That left her with extra time, time she has no idea what to do with. It was beginning to drive her mad. That was until Edward called. It was better than nice to hear from him and to talk, simply talk. It was even better when it turned out he was close, really close. He got to her place and they shared milk and brownies. It sounds so eight grade but sweet.  Things went above eight grade level, before either realized, not that they minded that much. It was sweet, tender, soft, slow, just as they need to take things. But as good things it came to an end. Edward left. He left but not without being open and honest with each other. They will miss each other tremendously until Bella returns.

Nothing has changed but all is changed. They still spend time talking about nothing and everything. Bella still asks questions that Edward tries to answer as honest and as simply as possible.

They both wanted more, to go further, but they both know they need to pace themselves. Nothing was mentioned about this. That's part of their magic and charm. It didn't have to.

But as comfortable and good as all this feels, there's more to it. Edward has to tell Jasper, and he has to stop stalling. Jasper saw there's something that is not quite like it was before he left. He knows Edward will tell him, he won't push, but Edward has to tell him soon.

How will Jasper react? What will he say to Edward? to Bella?

Want and should are two very different things indeed. They want to, but should they? They took the smart road and stopped. It's amazing they could. I thought they weren't going to be able to.

That's both good and bad. Good, they care for each other enough to not rush. Bad, for the same reason. Bella is going to move eventually. And then? What are they now? What will they be then?

There's so much they are sharing and so little at the same time...

Edward thought Jasper would be tougher on him about Bella, maybe he wanted to, but as he said, it's not his place, but it is another thing for Edward to juggle. However, it is making him do better, be better, and Jasper has to have seen this. Seen the changes in Edward, and part of them are thanks to Bella.

They are comfortable around each other, and like their company, and miss it when they are apart. Seattle... Bella will eventually move, and that will make things difficult, hard. Can they do it? How will they manage?

Edward wants a change, wants more and better, that's good and a great sign. He wants to go back to school, not just push a trolley all day. But if Bella isn't there... That's going to be a huge challenge.

I love their talks and discussions. They are sweet, funny and goofy.

Edward had a rough day, he felt lost, but got to Bella, who of course, felt even more lost than Edward. However, they have been talking for so long and so openly, that they are able to do the same now. Maybe it was the uncertainty of feeling lost but secure at the same time that made them push that last boundary out of the way.

It was, intense, fast, slow, filled with all kinds of emotions. It was better than good, Bella felt a connection she had never felt or imagine before. It was right. Edward was also happy, enjoying himself, all he tried Bella went along with, caring for him.

They found themselves so easily good together. But still there are things to discover and learn from one another; like a security blanket or a difficulty in sharing. They will work it out, how? No clue, but they will.
