I have to admit, I'm a little confused about the time line...could you clarify?
Author's Response: I actually had to repair Ch 8 since I was a day ahead. Here's what I got (from Twilight Timeline):
Wednesday, March 15 (2006):
Alice has vision of Bella jumping, travels from Denali to Washington State via plane/car
Thursday, March 16 (2006):
Bella jumps off cliff (from book timeline);
Sam/Jacob lose Victoria in the water;
Seth/Leah Shift;
Harry has his heart-attack;
Bella ends up back at Jake's;
Alice meets Charlie at the Hospital
Friday, March 17 (2006):
Victoria leaves "gift" (very early AM)
Bella/Charlie breakfast;
Harry dies;
Jacob/Jared in car - finds out about Alice's return;
Bella/Charlie to hospital;
Bella finds "body" in her house (later that day)
Saturday, March 18 (2006):
Harry's funeral (as per book)

Summary: 
Years have passed since Edward left Bella in the forest. She's finally worked through her heartbreak but has never moved on to another man. She treats her best friend, Jake, like a beloved pair of old jeans. Jake is not happy with this situation. Great chapter! I think the sexual tension is going to kill us before it does Jacob and Bella :P She just needs to give him a little Rez moonshine and jump his bones; problem solved . . . or here's a thought: communicate with him. Crazy, I know! Imagine, actually telling him how she feels - or Jake telling her how he feels. I would really like to know what Edward was thinking? I know you said you weren't going to get into his point of view, but I would really like to see why he said what he did. Update soon! Author's Response: I understand wanting to know what Edward is thinking. He will tell us what's been going on in his head later in the story. I'm still not sure if I'll write anything from his point of view. Right now I'm struggling to finish the final chapter, so I'm not sure if I'll even be able to come up with anything good from his perspective.
