I live in Grain Valley, Missouri, with my fiancee, his parents, and my daughter. She is my WORLD.
I don't have any works published, here or anywhere else, but I am working on one fic that I've been toying with the idea of publishing. I've never let anyone read my work before, so it's hard whther or not to decide to publish.
I love to read, I always have. My family says I'm a bit of a Bella, due to my clumsy, awkward nature, as well as my love for books and sheer spite to all things athletic.
Of course, I wonder, if I'm such a Bella, then where the hell is MY Edward?

This story is now COMPLETE!
Dark Side of the Moon is my version of New Moon from Edward’s point of view. Witness how Edward agonized over leaving Bella, hunted for Victoria, faced the Volturi, and came to realize that with Bella was where he was meant to be.
This tormented story has been a part of my life for about a year and a half – and what a ride it’s been! Meant to be canon and in character, I hope you enjoy angsty Edward and his suffering during New Moon. As unhappy as Bella was during this time, Edward suffered so much more (I think). So be sure and crack open a fresh box of tissues before reading!
Thank you to everyone for all the reviews, especially to those of you who reviewed each and every chapter! Your support and loyalty have been the driving force to me getting this project finished – and I hope it’s lived up to all of your expectations.

Very well written. New Moon was actually the first of the Saga that I read, as I was unaware of there being a book previous to that.
It's nice to see how the split went under Edward's POV. Of course, now I wanna throw stuff, but, hey. Ya get what ya get. ANd I know he comes back so..

Author's Response: i technically didn't say that i killed jasper, now did i? but i also didn't say that i didn't, so you'll just have to wait and see. most readers were under the same impression that you are, and they were not at all happy about it. i got threats on my life if i didn't fix this...but considering very few readers actually know where i'm from, i decided that starving monkeys and evil death glares were not coming my way, so I kept writing this angsty mess the way I wanted to. i hope you won't hate it TOO much. hehe. thanks for the review! :)

lol. i'd give you an extra five points for the catchy lil song at the end. Author's Response: haha...you might not if you knew where the "hey hey hey" jingle originated from. let's just say my boyfriend infuses my nerdiness with lovely additions of his own (for which i am USUALLY thankful because where would i be if i never knew the comedic brilliance of monty python or the cheesy goodness of star wars and red dwarf?) and one of those additions involved a cd full of "music" from a cartoon called space ghost. the tune for my little end note song came because i was sitting at my desk with the annoying melody of the song about beans running through my mind and i NEEDED to get it out, pronto. so i kept the tune, changed the words and BAM! end note song and a cleared head. oh well, at least it wasn't about a cucumber. (yeah, just...don't ask)
...and now that i have responded in a completely tangential, off-topic way, i'd like to say that i hope you will continue to read and enjoy this story and i hope to hear from you again because i love to read your thoughts. it's been a while since i have updated, but that is because my life started snowballing into a big, ugly mess of busy-ness and it certainly doesn't help that i'm working on about four new chapters at one time...but i hope to have an update ready not too long after you reach the last posted chapter! happy reading! :)

Summary: You know those fics where Edward doesn't come back and Bella forgets about him and five seconds later she's in bed with Jacob and none of it makes any damn sense?
Yeah, this isn't one of them.
This story picks up from the moment in New Moon when Jacob has driven Bella home after the cliff diving incident, right before he catches the scent of Alice. Only in this telling, Alice wasn't looking, so there's no sudden appearance at Bella's house, no Rosalie calling Edward and sending him on a suicidal mission to Volterra, and no reason for Bella to do anything but believe that Edward didn't love her anymore. This is simply a story of what might have happened if everyone stayed mostly in character and Edward's return was delayed. Yes, delayed. Because we all know that he was "this close" to coming back on his own anyhow.
So what would have happened if Bella had tried to move on with her life? Would she have found happiness with Jacob? And would Edward be too late?

I think that this is a wonderfully constructed, well written fanfic. Definitely one of the better fics on the site. I'll admit, at times the POV back-and-forth gets old, but it IS interesting to see how Bella and Jacob perceive things differently, so most times, it's worth it. KEEP UP THE GOOD WORK!

Title: Chapter 51: Quiet: Bella's POV
Ohhh, you're definitely making it hard on this Team Edward girl...I've ALWAYS ALWAYS ALWAYS loved vampires (they ooze sexy ^_^) but a tiny part of me (it's a secret, SHH!) will always be Team Jacob. I think because he tries SO hard to make Bella see that she belongs with him, and in ways, she really IS better off with him. Then again, maybe it's cause I always run colder than everyone I know, and would love me a werewolf to keep me warm at night, lol. So, for NOW, still mostly Team Eddie, But a tiny bit Team Jake. I've always been indecisive, I can't help it!
Who do I want Bella to end up with? Now THAT is a tough freaking question. Anyone can see that Bella will always hold a place in her heart for Edward, if she wants to or not. Ever girl is that way with her first love. You never really forget them, and occasionally, you wonder, what if? Edward is also the kind of guy every girl dreams about finding, but so rarely do. He's perfect, and is utterly infatuated with her. He can offer her the gift of immortality. (Even though he thinks he's damning her soul.) But in all reality, Jacob is so much better for her, as anyone can see. He doesn't have to try to control himself (as much.) when he's around her. He's not fighting the urge to rip her throat out 24/7, and she wouldn't have to sacrifce anything for him. She could live a (mostly) normal life.
And now for you reaming. (a kind hearted one!) Your story is so riveting, that I completely forgot to eat. And that's NOT easy for me, considering Im 27 weeks pregnant. Food is ALWAYS on the mind. So now, I'm extremely freaking HUNGRY, and need to find some foodage.
