Oh, wow... I hardly know where to start to tell you what's tickling my brain!
If Bella chooses Edward after all that they have been through, I am going to reach through this computer screen and punch her in the eyebrow!

I think Edward is going to be none-too-pleased when he finds Bella so close to the wolves. I can only imagine how much he's going to overreact. *evil laughter* Lol, but I am looking forward to the "chat", and I hope everyone plays nicely.

Title: Chapter 11: Forgiveness
This is a great story that I am absolutely loving. The humor is refreshing, because it matches perfectly to the humor between Bella and Jacob in the actual books.

Oh man, Leah messed her up pretty good. I bet she feels horrible about it though.
I'm glad she finally told Jake how she feels about him.
But anyways, that was a cute end to the chapter. It made me giggle. :)

Great update.
Is everything covered? ‘Cause I really don’t want to die, and Jacob can be very, very scary when he gets the inclination. And me seeing parts of you that he hasn’t would most definitely give him the inclination.”
LOVED that line. It made me laugh, because I could actually picture Jake's reaction. I am just loving Embry in this story, with how caring and helpful he is with Bella.
I can't wait to see how the whole 'Edward' sitation pans out. I hope he leaves just as soon as he arrives, haha! I don't want it to mess with Bella's emotions toward Jacob now that she admitted she loves him! Author's Response: Oh, come on. You know you want Edward to stir things up a little bit. I'm just gonna have him stir things up ALOT. ;)

I absolutely love your writing style. You have a way of conveying so much love, want, anticipation, and sadness into your words. Words you can really feel. :)
And you also have a way of stopping at excruiating moments! *shakes fist* Haha. Seriously, you can't leave it there! You must update this at once!

Title: Chapter 17: Act II
I was so excited when I logged on and this story was updated!
Everything about Jacob was truly heart-felt, and how much he loves Bella and everything he's willing to do for her really shines in this chaoter. :)
I've read a lot of Jacob/Bella fics, but this story has its own sort of chemistry between them. The chemistry in this story is definitely one of my absolute favorites!
Can't wait for the next one.

I'm glad that you're liking Jacob's character development. This is how I imagined him growing if he hadn't been so negatively effected by Bella leaving him. Hopefully it's realistic.

I'm proud of Bella for being able to steer clear of Edward. She's stronger than she gives herself credit for. :)
I was sad there wasn't more Jacob/Bella interaction. But I'm sure there will be more of that to come. Can't wait for the next one! Author's Response: I was waiting for someone to point at that. No, there wasn't much J/B action, sorry! Fo sho more next chapter.
Yes, Bella didn't dissolve into hysterics, but she's still riding along the river of de-Nile when it comes to Edward's motivations. I think an Edward-Bella conversation is order for the near future.

Title: Chapter 20: Agreement
This was a great chapter. It gave us another look into those crazy dreams that I am oh so curious about. :) To say they're interesting would be an understatement.
And another surprise--Leah coming to stand by Bella's side! I think her very drawn out apology was very in character. :)
Absolutely cannot wait for the next one! :D Author's Response: Okay, crazy dreams are becoming one of my favorite things to write (behind sexy Jacob, goofy Embry, pms Leah, and perverted Quil). They will be (slightly) explained at some time in the future.

Title: Chapter 21: Kept Promises

And that's why I love this story! Very mysterious. Boring doesn't even exist in this story's vocabulary. :D
Brilliant line that I loved: My brain knew that it was impossible to actually fall into someone’s eyes, but standing in a silent, dimly lit kitchen where Jacob’s dark irises melted into the blackness of his pupils as he stared down at me, my body begged to differ. I teetered precariously on the edge.
And for the record, that was a very tasteful sexytime. Haha. It gave just a few tidbits that were lovely.

Actually I'm glad that you highlighted that line as a keeper. I was a little worried it was TOO corny. But I like corny, so my judgement can't be trusted.

Summary:  You know those fics where Edward doesn't come back and Bella forgets about him and five seconds later she's in bed with Jacob and none of it makes any damn sense?
Yeah, this isn't one of them.
This story picks up from the moment in New Moon when Jacob has driven Bella home after the cliff diving incident, right before he catches the scent of Alice. Only in this telling, Alice wasn't looking, so there's no sudden appearance at Bella's house, no Rosalie calling Edward and sending him on a suicidal mission to Volterra, and no reason for Bella to do anything but believe that Edward didn't love her anymore. This is simply a story of what might have happened if everyone stayed mostly in character and Edward's return was delayed. Yes, delayed. Because we all know that he was "this close" to coming back on his own anyhow.
So what would have happened if Bella had tried to move on with her life? Would she have found happiness with Jacob? And would Edward be too late?

Don't get me wrong, I love the Cullens, but not in this story, haha. They had to pick the most horrible time to come back, when Jake was already feeling vulnerbale. ;)
I like your style, though. Mixing things up, keeping them from getting boring.
Poor Jake is already jumping to conclusions when he chastized himself for this last time, but he has a right to. Can't wait for the the "talk" and I'm also curious as to what Alice forseen concerning Victoria...

Author's Response: thank you! if there's one thing i try to avoid, it's predictability. i mean, sure, we know some things are going to happen---it's all part of the fanfic romance formula. but the last thing i want is to write a cookie cutter fic that's just another version of every other j/b fic out there. it's actually a lot of fun to brainstorm and come up with new situations and ways to give these two kids some challenges.

Hahaha! I LOVED the end of the chapter. It was completely in character for CHarlie. That last line would be exactly what I would imagine him to say in that sitatuon.
