I'm married to a pretty funny man, who finds my obsession with all things Twilight pretty hilarious, if not, sometimes slightly annoying.
I try to tell him that it's his entire fault. He was actually the one who bought me the first book while I was home recovering from minor surgery. He got roped into it by a sales associate (who was probably a pretty girl) at Barnes & Noble that told him I was sure to love it...even though I wasn't 15. Come to think of it, I should really probably buy her a present!
He thinks that the idea of me actually writing a story in an "Alternate Universe" is pretty funny too. (Yes, I've come out to my wonderful husband as a writer of FF) He said to me "I just keep imaging the characters of Twilight playing the roles of the characters of Grease. You know, like Edward Cullen as Danny Zuko or Jasper as Kinicke." This, if I'm being honest, made me laugh a little too. But, I let it slide, since he really doesn't quite get it.
I am an educated, professional woman with a great job that I love and am passionate about.
I'm all about female empowerment, but that doesn't mean I'm gonna go all "Gloria Steinem Ball-Buster" on you or anything.
I love to clean my house, but I hate to do laundry. I would have it all dry cleaned if I could.
I'm obsessed with all things cosmetics and fragrance! Very girlie, when it comes to stuff like that.
I love the beach and the sun. I don't know how long I would actually last in a place like Forks.
My one quest in life has been to find the "perfect" cocktail. Hence, my name. I have a great group of friends who have been more than happy to help me make my discovery. We haven't discovered it yet. Although, a couple of places have come close.

Okay...he's still kind of douchey, but I liked that she let him sleep in her rrom and gave him water and asprin. We all want to take care of him :) Author's Response: Hey!

Title: Chapter 4: Orchids
Loved the dialogue with Jackson. (I keep wanting to call him Jasper)
Rob redeemed himself. Liked the honesy between them when he was apologizing.
Liked how she threatened him with quiting if he f*cked with her career again. I would do that. Still love her!

Title: Chapter 11: Date, Interrupted
Okay...so this is what we do, right? It's not just the rich and famous! We all get pissed or hurt and go out to a bar and proceed to get shitfaced! LOL That's why I'm liking this story. Even with the elements of fantasy, there's realism too! I think you've done a good job with developing these characters. But, seriously...when are they just going to go at it? I'm definitely waiting for that! I'm all about the fluff and smut. LOL Author's Response: Hey!!
I try to keep it real in terms of his life, the paps, the fans, managing falling for your assistant. Despite the elements of fantasy, I want to try and keep it somewhat of a possibility. As for going to bar and getting smashed when you're pissed of...that definitely happens!!!

Title: Chapter 13: Screams and Comfort
Okay...so how is it possible that even when he's sleeping, he gives the hottest kiss ever?!?!?!?
I like that he's becoming more vulnerable, and not just with her, just in general. Even in his thoughts. You've done a really good job at transitioning his character from the bad guy to the misunderstood guy...and now to the hero of your story. And, you did it without being too obvious!

Loved this chapter!
Favorite line: Fuck...Rob...and those stupid full lips! (I laughed out loud when I read this)
Jackson was also hilarious in this chapter.
So, I was thinking about this story and why I like it so much. You've done a great job with creating a story that just works, emotionally, the way real life does. There is UST in spades. The characters are flawed, but all have redeeming qualities. It has you waiting for that next thing to happen...and you really have won me over with the humor. I say that because, real life is pretty damn funny sometimes. The way you've woven all these things together has made your story work on many levels.

Great chapter! I loved all the banter between them.
We've all had that "date" where you ask the other person a million questions and just get to know about each other.
I also loved the part with the shopping. It was a total guy move to take her shopping because he had a laundry list of things he needed. I don't care what anyone says.
