Man oh man what I wouldn't give to see Rob in a cowboy hat and atop a horse.
Summary: Bella's parents have comissioned a painting to be done of her by one Edward Cullen. Edward, though, is too suave for his own good and its not long before he's trying to talk Bella right out of her own clothes.
“You did really well,” Edward said, beginning to pack up his things.
I blushed. "Thank you."
“You ever thought about posing nude?”
My head went up in shock and I half expected to see one of those gotcha smiles plastered on his face. There wasn’t though. No, instead he looked deadly serious, like he was already taking my clothes off with his eyes. I felt the sudden need to cover up.

Gah! I can't believe Edward had the gaul to do that!!!! How horrible for Bella to see it just after he had told her how different he is now. I don't know how you are going to redeem him in Bella's heart and soul, but I'm sure you've got this well thought out. I just can't wait to read more. Great chapter.

Edward is still so much a mystery and that worries me for Bella's sake. He's not forthright in talking about himself or his family and that seems odd to me. I'm hoping he's one of the good guys though so I'll have faith and keep hoping. Thanks for the update, it was great.

Title: Chapter 17: Confrontation
Thank goodness you are back. I've been really missing this story update. So much hapened in this chapter and I'm still trying to wrap my head around it all. Edward still hasn't cleared up as to why he did what he did that night with Heidi as far as I can tell. He only seemed to make it worse for poor Bella by how he tried to explain it all. There is so much more to this and I can't wait to find out what it all is. She had quite a night...finding out about Renee's infidelity and then her "talk" with Edward, which, given her emtional upheaval after seeing Renee with her lover, was probably not a good idea right then. I hope you are able to give us more soon. I really love this story! Hugs. I'll check you out over at DF, I visit there a lot and enjoy reading wonderful stories by so many talented authors.

Title: Chapter 7: Experimentation
Wow is right! This was one hot chapter and I loved it. Edward is fascinating. I'm still trying to figure him out...is he really one of the good guys or does he give this line to all the girls he paints and, 'you know'. I'm betting his feelings for Bella are more than just about sex and I hope I'm not disappointed. And isn't she just a hot little number for one so young! LOL. I can't blame her though, he is irrisistable. Hope another update is coming soon, I can't wait to read more. Love it.

I loved this chapter and the fact that he actually painted on her body. I can't wait for the show and to see the reaction to her nude painting. I'm wondering if he plans on showing Alice's photos of his painting on Bella's body as well. Hoot! He's definitely falling hard for her and I think he's afraid to admit it to himself. I wonder what it is that happened in his past that makes him so reluctant to commit to a relationship? Hmmm, we'll have to wait and see.

Oh how my heart aches for Bella. I can't imagine what would have made him do such a stupid, selfish thing that night after the way he was with her during the art show and the walk to the party. He really seemed to care for/love her very much. I'm dying to find out just what really went on in that bathroom and why. I don't blame her for standing up to him the way she did. He acted like a prick! But a part of me still loves him and know he's really messed up somehow and I want to give him a big hug, that is after I smack him upside the head!! LOL. Hope the angst doesn't last too long. ;-)

Title: Chapter 19: The New Guy
Yes, I haven't given up on this story, as a matter of fact, just this morning I was reading something else and thought about Caravaggio, wondering when we would ever get an update. Well now, knowing that you've written this also from Edward's POV I can only ask that you considering posting that one as an outtake, please.
Bella is so conflicted about her feelings regarding Edward, but really, I just wish she could get beyond the hurt and just forgive him and try again for that connection between them. As Tanya basically said, we all make mistakes and must learn to have empathy for those who do unto us. Even though Bella claims to have forgiven him, I'm not so sure she really has. I know it's much harder to forget than to forgive and that is the problem. It's very plain to see they are both still so miserable without each other, which speaks for the depth of their feelings for one another.
Tanya is a good friend to him and I think as time goes on that she and Bella will also form a bond, unless Bella does something to hurt her Edward.
Thank you for not injecting Jacob in the story as another option for Bella, I just wouldn't be able to stand that. Jacob annoys the hell out of me for some reason. I guess because he's always trying to insinuate himself between her and Edward. (inTwilight, not here, yet).
I loved that this was a nice long chapter and hope we get another one soon. Thanks!

Title: Chapter 41: ET Phone Home
I'm really glad she had the talk. Stuff came out, with a lot of digging on Tina's part, that needed to be talked about. I'm upset that he'd cave and do the drugs, but walking in his shoes has got to be stressful with all the pressure he must be under to please all the powers that be who are trying to control his life right now. Tina was so right in calling him out on that issue telling him she won't put up with it, at all. Proud I am of her for that. He's got to man up and take control. Great chapter in that they cleared the air and now need to work on getting back to where they need to be with each other. I hope I'm reading this correctly Kris. Thanks! Hugs. Author's Response: Hey, Nancy! Of course you've got it perfectly... I think you know these characters as well as I do! We don't know for sure if/what he did, but the important part was "why" he might do anything. Tina wants to teach him to explore why he does things - kind of ironic that she wants to teach an actor to explore his motivations, don't you think?!? The hard part for ficRob here is that he learned, while he had Suzie, to demand some consideration for his personal life during the time between New Moon's release and Breaking Dawn's filming. But he has found himself falling back on old habits since BD started, and because he has no Suzie and sporadic Tina, there's nobody kicking his ass to demand that consideration again.
Tina had to give some tough love, for sure. The best thing is that she didn't run and she let him explain. And he didn't try to dismiss her concerns. They listened to each other and reacted - hooray! Finally, some balance and some good communication! I do believe that they ended that conversation - it didn't fade into the background to surface again later. It's done. She said what she needed to say and he said what he needed to say. They heard each other. Now, actions will show their responses. You are absolutely right that now it comes down to getting back to where they need to be. Monday's post will answer a lot of those questions and pose what comes next.

My this Tina is such a busy girl. I hope she doesn't lose herself while trying to find a balance in her life. Rob is perisistant, thank the Gods, and I think he's going to find a way to see her in London and wear her down. Lizzy may be an enabler there, I hope. heh.She may even get to meet the parents! I know that's a stretch, but hey, she's on his turf now, right? She needs a little time to smell the roses, no? Speaking of which, want to bet there are some beautiful flowers waiting in said apartment? Just a thought.
Can't wait for their 3 o'clock videocam call. :) Great chapter, again.

I thought it was important for people to see that she has real responsibilities beyond getting together with Rob that might explain why she's so conflicted and did the dastardly deed in the first place. These are huge consulting undertakings for a single person to do, and she's got two of them. Hopefully people see that she's not being evil - she's really just trying to take as much off her plate as possible to help her to not screw up the two things that matter - her daughter and her career/ability to provide for her family. Remember, she's the primary source of income and has to give Lou alimony.
Rob is very persistent... they aren't actually going to have a webcam call. Although they have the capability, she's not entirely comfortable with the technology so he's not going to push the issue yet. He's really afraid to push her at all right now. London has the potential to be... interesting. For both of them. She's got a couple of short visits and then a couple of long ones.

I've been away all weekend, no internet, so only got the update this afternoon. Thanks, it was wonderful. Love Rob so much in this, he is not only so sweet and loving but sexy as hell. Title: Chapter 44: Modern Day Fairy Godmother
This is going to be fun! As for the shopping, I have a little notion that Lizzy has talked to Rob about it and he told her to go carte blanche on the outfit for the gala but not to let Tina know! Just a wild guess. :) As for Peter, I had a feeling he was kind of hoping they would work out but glad she was up front with him about how she is with someone. That way nobody gets hurt. Author's Response: Hi, Nancy! They really do have a good time shopping! I guess I didn't make it clear that Rob's time on set has been really, really hectic. Even he and Tina are barely able to keep in touch, so he and Lizzy aren't any more connected. They exchange brief messages but that's about it. Lizzy and Tina have a friendship developing because Lizzy reminds Tina of Suzie, and Tina gives Lizzy a link to her brother. They really want to form a bond outside of their common bond, since they both miss him (for different reasons, obviously!). Besides, Tina is so stubborn she'd never let Lizzy pay.
I was glad she was open and honest with Peter and that he finally came clean about his intentions. Now hopefully everyone can move on, right? Right?
