I'm a history teacher who was introduced to everyone's favorite vegetarian vampires by my students.
I'm just starting to write my own stories, but for now I fill my time reading all the good stuff on twilighted.

Summary: Set during the same time period as New Moon. Bella is a talented ballet dancer living with Charlie in Forks. Edward and the Cullens left Forks, not to keep Bella safe, but because of Carlisle's job. Because of this, Edward never told Bella he didn't love her, yet he still had to go. With Bella's depression deepening Charlie encourages her to accept an offer to move to NYC and dance with the exclusive American Ballet Theatre. When Bella becomes victim to the unsafe streets of the city will Edward return in time to save her? How will their story end?

Title: Chapter 5: Chapter 5
Well I have to say I'm impressed that Edward hasn't killed Josh. But I'm more impressed at Bella's reaction to his confessions - I would have expected that she throw in a little bit more taking too much time to realize Edward's intentions.
I'm looking forward to reading more about their nightly visits - and their relationship blossoming. I'm MOST interested to read about how they handle aging, especially with Chris. Does Edward change Bella right away, and then they give Chris a choice? I hope this isn't one of those stories where Bella's new family has to die/be hurt in order for Edward and Bella to find happiness.
No matter what though, i'll keep reading and loving (i'm sure of it!)

I don't think they should EVER leave the house. In my loveliest dreams, Edward and Bella admit their love quickly, Rosalie and Esme take Chris on a little trip to Disney or something, and Bella is changed. Everyone gets their dream come true of raising a small child, and Bella and Edward get their forever.

I'm wondering very much what Bella's gift is, and if she'll be open to growing into Edward's mate.
I'm so sad for Charlie and Renee, but I think the way you're writing everything is spot on and really well done.
Author's Response: You find out Bella's gift when they go to Alaska (yes they go) but more hints are revealed in future chapters.

I really like that you're dragging out Bella understanding why she was changed, and I also really like that she's decided to just face the facts: She is about to have eternity with the vamp she was made to love. Wonderful!
I like the way that everyone makes sure Bella knows how good for Edward she is... I feel like that makes it easier for her to adjust.
