Author's Response: He'll ease up a little bit, in fact he did the tiniest bit this time around--still a jerk but not as openly hostile this time and was at least civil when explaining things to her at the end. Baby steps.

Thank god she listened to Edward about staying on Emmett's side of the car. Lucky her power kicked in to help brace Emmett somewhat from the impact. Even though it was quick, I loved the brief tender moment between B & E. Can't wait for more of that. Dimetri looks like he'll be a real problem
Author's Response: Yep, could've gotten ugly if she'd have gotten too close... though not as ugly as they'd have been had she not acted so quickly. Emmett certainly could've ended up more seriously injured.
B&E are still pretty awkward around each other, not really sure how to act around each other when they aren't being confrontational. Should be interesting to watch this progress ;-)

What was he so dazed about when he found out she was coming for Turkey day? I think he took the extra shifts walking her to class cause her kinda sorta feels 'something'.....maybe?
Author's Response: It just caught him off guard. He's been spending so much time with her, not to mention he can hear Alice's thoughts at least... but they managed to slip this one by him completely. He isn't used to it. Add that to having her meet the rest of his family...
Oh, he definitely feels something. Now that he has let his guard down and fully trusts her, he isn't really hiding his attraction. But, given how they started, she has no clue how to read him when he gets flirty or shows genuine interest in her life.

wow, AWESOME chapter! i was wondering if Carlisle was going to ask her for a sample of Bella's DNA to start testing it out. so they still have to be worried about this Herschel guy right? if he can screw with their security, the Volturi might be able to get to Bella if she's the only one home. and OMG Edward kissed her :D so happy about that! i'll be waiting patiently for the next chapter....lol
Author's Response: In early planning, I had debated having him request a sample but decided not to add that in. In my head, once he knows her a little better, he'll definitely ask and was probably already trying to figure out how long it would take before it wouldn't be an inappropriate request, LOL.
We won't see Herschel (who, by the way, is named after my beta's bulldog, LOL), but we'll have to wait and see how everything else plays out ;-)

Author's Response: Way late on review replies over here... but a whole new kind of miscommunication for these two. They should talk about it in chapter 15 unless the story starts taking over and leading itself in other directions like it tends to do, LOL.

Author's Response: Thanks! I have 7 outtakes written with I think three more to write? I promised the Fandom Gives Back team through chapter 8, so expect quite a few updates! I'm a little reluctant to see this story end too... gonna miss writing about all these powers.
